Tasting Death

Juani whirled around, as cats fought all around him.  Lights flickered resembling red and blue, as ice struck the forest floor and Fire burned at pelts.  Cats were constantly racing beside him and the place was now reeking of blood.

Juani shaked his head, trying to search for Viva, Koko, and Russet amongst all this rubble.  Juani dashed through the croud as blood splattered his muzzle as a cat's throat was clawed clean open.  Juani continued on, before he felt daggers into his side as a cat pinned him down.

"Your that fugitive, ain't ya?  Boss will be pleased to have you dealt with."  The cat teased.  As he scratched across Juani's forehead.  Juani tried to get up but he couldn't escape the cats grasp as he felt the cats weight crash into his shoulders preventing him from getting up.  "You, aren't getting away with this!" Juani choked out.  He needed to escape, he needed to be free, he needed it now.  

Juani twisted over, reaching for the cats face as he dug his fangs into the cats muzzle.  The cats grip loosened as the cat screeched and clawed at Juani.  Juani ripped and tore as he wrapped his paws around the cats neck, before rapidly kicking into said cats torso.  The cat barely budged, as a flicker from the cats bright red striped tail sent flames in Juani's path.

He could just narrowly dodge as blood dripped from his shoulder, face, and muzzle.  He felt the heat ripple throughout his body as the cat shot another.  Of which, Juani's eyes glowed a bright blue as he pounced through it.  The heat becoming warm as it dappled with blue light.  Juani collided into the cat, both sent in a flury of claws and fangs until they were near the center of the mess of death, destruction, and fury.  

He scented his own blood as he dug his fangs into the cats face, ripping out a chunk of flesh as they screamed.  Juani flicked some of his own magic onto the cats chest, pressing down until he felt blood puddle.  The cat screeched, before biting into Juani's paw.  Juani Yowled and twisted over taking the cat with him.  The cat sent strikes of flames into Juani, the blue becoming more and more distant as the flames gradually overtook him.

That is, until he erupted flames of his own.  The cat and Juani both studdered back as some cats around them began looking towards Juani's direction as a blue whirl of flames spun around the cat and sent the cat who had pinned him running.  However the cat spun around and began lighting a pool of golden sparks near their mouth.  The blue whirlpool around Juani dispersed to reveal Juani's bright blue glowing eyes.  The cat braced as Juani ran forward, he felt magic pulse in his veins of which he had never felt before, due to being an average cat.

His senses were on a height as Juani's paws glowed and he unsheathed his claws, pouncing into the air to land onto the other cat.   Juani's eyes widened as the cat shot a racing ball of fire into Juani.  His own magic could just barely disperse of it before the other cat had pounced onto Juani and clawed across his cheek.  Juani's vision was clouded with blood as the cat gripped onto his scruff and tossed him across the clearing. 

"What a shame, I thought you were gonna be more of a challenge."  The cat smirked and suddenly erupted into laughter.  Juani slowly got to his paws.  Pain reaching into him like daggers trying to get him to submit.  Juani slowly got up, and turned into the cats direction.  In response to Juani's challenge the other cat began to assume said fighting posture.

Juani felt his paws shoot up and run without his command as blue suddenly clouded his vision and the cats eyes glowed an bright yellow.  The blue dispersed as He leapt off of the cat, his claws dripping with blood as the cat's eye was gouged open.  The cat was growling as its fur shot up.  It pounced at Juani with rippling orange around its paws.  

Juani bit into the cats neck, jaws clamping as flames burned into his pelt.  As blue magic erupted around him and the cat, digging into the cats pelt as fur burned off of the cat.  The cat didn't submit to pain however.  As the cat twisted, making Juani lose his grip and flinging him out of the air and into the ash flecked dirt.   Juani yowled in pain as he crashed into the dirt, the cat almost majestically landing.  Head high.
