01- " the end already? "

ALKMENE has been moping around the mansion since Number 5 broke it off with her, he said he was too tired to continue and it just seemed as toxic as what he feared their relationship would be— its obvious though that Alkmene still loves him.

He was among the ones who believed in her, no he was the only one who believed in her. He didn't look mad or stay away when she lost control, she still blames herself for killing Luther and Ben; Vanya got saved by Allison and both nearly died in the effort.

Because of that, the other siblings got wary of her; in short, afraid if ever she " decided " to loose control. It wasn't her fault that she saw the moon, she wasn't at fault when she felt a strange urge inside her.

Nevertheless, she stayed in the mansion with 5 hoping he'd stay longer than the rest; obviously he left, without notice and just a plain paper saying they were over.

Alkmene got lonely to the point she talked to her father's portrait, pretending he'd actually listen although she knew he wouldn't— dead or alive.

Just now, Alkmene sighed and closed the book she has been trying- and failing- to read in the library; her tears were no longer present as to before when she'd bawl at the mere memory of 5 or the others. She's sitting at a window near the glass and she traced the droplets of rain that were splattered on the glass, she felt tranquil at that moment and she nearly forgot about how lonely she was.

It actually shocked her at how quickly everyone left, to her she referred to it as the " domino affect ".

After she accidentally killed Ben during a mission, she got locked in a chamber where no light could be seen and Mr. Hargreeves already knew she was at a disadvantage because of that.

Then her relationship with 5 went somewhere, both forced themselves to love although they were too young to grasp the concept; hence the other reason as to why 5 left.

Luther died and the others grew cold, Vanya nearly passed out from blood loss and that deepened the widening gap of the adopted siblings; Luther nearly killed Alkmene for causing trouble and because she accidentally hurt Allison.

Klaus was Klaus, he got more sober and was one of the ones who supported her and listened to her when they left; somehow he turned a leaf and got cold to her also.

Diego was no different, although his warmth and acceptance got broken towards Alkmene and he decided to leave and wiped all traces of his whereabouts.

The other siblings were nowhere to be found.

Then suddenly—

DING

DONG

Alkmene jumped at the sound as it echoed in the whole mansion and with a her mood lifted, she ran to the first floor and nearly tripping herself and she answered the door.

She got disappointed, but she didn't expect her siblings to come back that easily but instead of a person there was a parcel that had her name.

Curious, she took it in not before stepping out and looking around for who could've left the parcel. Seeing no one, she brought it inside and shook it lightly; she got more curious as there was a small thing inside it that got tossed lightly when she shook it.

She opened it and there was a note on it:
Time's up, Alkmene

She got more confused and suddenly the thing in her hands exploded—a bomb, she gasped before she got thrown back to the wall and she heard footsteps.

" This is the end for you Alkmene, therefore I demand you...
