King Rory

I watch as this small little thing with black hair and white pale skin. I can't see the color of her eyes from hear but they look black or a very dark brown.

"Who might you be?" I ask.

"My name is Arabella Redwolf." She says with a soft yet hard tone. Almost like she has learned to be hard with people from a young age.

"Arabella." I say tasting her name on my tongue and watch as she shivers in delight. I give her a smirk.

Seems the little thing is attracted to me. Most people just find me appalling because my skin isn't even skin.

I look to Bloody Mary.

"You may leave us." I tell her and she bows and walks back out the doors and when I turn back to Arabella I find that she has moved closer to me.

I hold my hand out to her.

"Come closer." I say and she walks, more like glides toward me and takes my hand without an ounce of fear.

I smile a genuine smile and pull her to me and have her sit on my lap. For one in so long someone isn't afraid of me. And I like it.

She sits down sideways on my lap but facing me.

"Why aren't you afraid of me?" I ask, I have to know.

"Because you look like a King who wants to rule but you also look lonely." She says looking my crystal face over.

"How long have you been a King?" She asks.

"Time is different here then from earth, but in earth years I have been king for a thousand years and until I have an heir I will remain king."

I life my hand to her face and run my finger over her soft cheek.

"I will protect you." I say and she gives me a soft smile.

"I can protect myself but I appreciate the protection." She says with a soft whiper.

I stand up with her hand still in mine.

"Come, I'd like to show you something." I lead her away from the throne room and up a flight of stairs, down a hallway, and up another flight of stairs and into a room with a giant dark matter bowl on a black rock pedestal with a black reflactive liquid.

I bring her towards it and look into it. I see us in the reflection at first and then it swirls and changes so that I am looking at a map. A map of Mirror World.

"This is a Map of this world." I say and Arabella come closer.

"It looks like a Map of Earth, but instead of oceans where there should be there is land." She says softly will looking it all over.

"Yes, but don't go to those lands. That is where the Mirror Prison is located. I can reach the Warden through the castle as well as the worst of the prisoners, but that doesn't mean there aren't others that are just as dangerous. They have no reflection to use, it is the part of this world that is a void shall I put it. There is no mirrors, reflective rocks, nothing to reach other parts of this world or even Earth."

I look over to her face for once to see on how she is taking all of this.

After a few minutes of her studying the map she looks up to me with a slight frown.

"Why are you showing me this?" She asks in curiousness and something akin to fear.

"Because you have powers that I can sense, I done know what kind of powers, but I believe that they are extraordinary beyond belief and I want you to be safe. I also want you to know that with this map and with mirrors on earth you can jump to different parts of this world." I frown as I try to think of a better word than jump.

"Jump is the best way I can describe it, but you can essentially travel from one part of this world to another in a nanosecond. So it's the best way to describe it."

"Okay. Thank you." She looks to me with a huge smile and I get lost in the look in her eyes as they twinkle with a spark of emotion. Emotion that I noticed wasn't there before.

Happiness.

I smile, glad that I got the spark in her eye.

"Come on, I'll show you and where you can stay while you are in Mirror World."

I walk us out of the Map room and back down to the same floor as the throne room but go in the opposite direction and bring her to a room with double black marble doors.

In Mirror World there is no such thing as color, just matter and dark matter, black, white, and grey exist.

I push open the doors and we enter in an extravagant bed chambers.

I look back to her and she look around the room and then back to me.

"Is this your room?" She asks, not like she is worried but more out of curiosity.

"No, but this is what would be considered as the heir's room." I say trying to reassure her, just in case she is worried that I am trying to take advantage of her.

She nods her head and then walks around the room and I hear my wristband make a ping sound and I lift it up and a message appears in my head.

"An attempted breakout of the prison just happened, my sire." The Warden's voice says in my head.

I look back to Arabella.

"I apologize, but I have something that I need to take care off." I say with a bow and turn to leave. I stop and look back to her.

"One last thing, your wristband is on the dark matter nightstand. It is the only tech in Mirror World." I say and walk out of her bed chambers.
