It was a (not really) normal morning at the Ultimate academy for gifted juvenile. You and your classmates just finished breakfast, you all decide to explore the outside of the school since y'all finished explore the inside of the school and the dorms yesterday.
"We group in three and try to find where the exit is, and if anyone find anything tell us after we finish exploring." Kaede explain
"Well! for y'all's safety. I, the genius inventor made theses two-way radios just for this exploring thingy! BUT, there's not enough for everyone, so use it in groups! Be thankful!" Miu laugh
Everyone decided that they should draw to decide groups, you got Rantaro and Tenko as teammates.
After split into 5 groups, you see that only Kokichi is the only one left out,"Guys, what about Kokichi? I mean we can have him in our team." You ask.
"I don't recommend that, he could just go alone, it's not like he's going to get killed anyway, all of us are in groups." Kirumi answer.
"Well, I need to be alone to plan evil things heha." Kokichi laugh, while walking away.
☆Time skip☆
The three of you went near the shrine of judgement, Kokichi is also near there too. After a while of discuss, the group decide to split up to explore (also because Tenko dislike male). So you thought go exploring with Rantaro is a good idea, he also agree since he's your friend.
You and Rantaro actually know each other since middle school, the reason why you both became friends is just that you always got paired with him in school for some reason. projects, presentations, competitions and even more! always together (because the teachers think that you guys work together well).
But both of you actually get along very well, he always help you with different things. Well that makes you catches some feelings for him, but you can just tell him! I mean we're in a KILLING game! He will definitely think I am weird because of this!
"Hey y/n are you ok?" Rantaro ask, shaking his hand Infront of your face.
"I-I'm fine sorry, I just accidentally spaced out!" You answer.
He chuckle, making you blush in embarrassment "Well then, what are you thinking of? Is it someone you like?" He ask jokingly, looking at your shocked face "Did I got it right?"
"I mean yeah, your right. How did you know about that tho?" You inquire him
"I can read minds, do you believe me?" He said seriously, staring into your e/c eyes
"Pff... Don't be silly, if you really can read minds, you already know who is it!" You laugh.
"Well then, can you tell me who is it?" Rantaro ask, curiously.
"Well-"You inhaled- "Absolutely not! It's a secret!"
He looks at you disappointedly.
Suddenly, Kokichi runs by and "accidentally" tripped you
(He actually kinda kicked your legs and not trip but oh well)
He looks back at yelled"thank me later!"then runs off.
Thankfully Rantaro is fast enough to catch you before you fell to the ground "Are you alright?" He asked while embracing you.
"I-I'm fine......" You replied, staring at him.
Both of you are in the position of almost 20 sec, both of you guys don't know how to react.
"We should probably continue searching....." You said looking at Rentaro. "Oh, sorry my bad..." He apologized while putting you back.
