The kid an his family are behind on the land taxes his mom does the best she can but has 6 kids an no one to depend on so her son remingdon goes away to make it better for his mom theres one less kid she has to feed the kid makes his way to the store he buys himself a coke an a hatchet an some string then makes his way in to the forest where he shall live an grow old. The kid starts cutting down small trees an puts them together. He sticks two in the ground an one on top of the to then he puts the rest at a angle an ties them up with his rope that is where he will sleep for tonight. The next mornin he takes his little lean to down and goes to fine some Jerry's to eat while he's looking for berrys he finds a black rock an accidently drops his hatchet on it it creates sparks so he smashes some with the butt end of his hatchet an takes it back to where his lean to is an he gathers little sticks an straw to create a fire he then decides to try an make a bow an arrow he finds some greenwood an cuts it down. He spilt the shaft in two an sets one end above the fire so it can dry out an the other one he shaves an makes a pole out of he takes a 10 foot peice of rope an unravels it so he can try to make some fishing string. He finds a tin can an takes the top to make a hook he puts a berry on the sharp part an tosses into the pond something snags it he yells fish on to only remember hes alone. The fish is clocked an gutted an the shaft is dry he bends it through his under leg an attaches the string he cuts an drys some saplings for arrows.
