Chapter 19: HIS CHILDHOOD PHOTO

Lumina POV

I'm now on Pierre Office, asking him the permission for me to go out.

"Wait for me to finish this, love. I'll go with you," he said making me pout.

"Fine... By the way, where is my Beta and yours? I haven't seen them for a while now?" I asked while browsing every corner of his office.

My eyes caught up the photo of a juvenile boy. It radiates a mysterious vibe, because of the mask and hair that almost cover his entire face leaving a little glimpse of his eyes.

A little smirk form into my lips realizing that this must be him when he young.

"Pierre, is this you?" I asked him, still smirking. I bring the photo with me as I walk towards him.

"That... Why are you holding that?" He asked a little bit red.

"Oww...why? Are you embarrassed? It's cool, yah know? I didn't know that you were this slender and not to mention this cool. When you were young."I said as I giggle.

"That's when I still don't have my wolf. Dad didn't let me work with my physique because of his promise to my mom that he will let me enjoy my childhood 'till my wolf appears." He explained and I just nod.

"So... When you were young- you already hold this mysterious vibe, huh." I said. Kinda teasing him.

"By the way...... Marry and Darwin are spending time with his family. Darwin's sisters won't let Marry leave, same as his parents." He said while checking the papers on his table trying to change the subject. So I just go with his flow but I will surely bring this up again.

"I was wondering, how will your elders react if they will found out about me?"

Pierre parents already accepted me to be their daughter in law and they even apologize to me.

"They will love you. That's for sure," he assured me making me smile.

Everytime I have doubts, he will be the first one who will assure me that everything is going well.

My wolf keeps on pushing to sit on his lap, so I did. I walk towards him before standing next to him. He stared at me for a while before smiling and pulling to sit on his lap.

"Is this Afomia decision or yours?" He asked putting his chin in my shoulder.

"Both," I replied honestly. I really wanted to sit on his lap. It's just that I'm kinda shy. But as what I promise to Afomia- I'll try loosing up a bit.

"By the way, I wanted to asked you this," he said before browsing the papers on his desk and hand me a piece of paper with a list of funds there. "What do you think of having a buffet instead of having an alternate dinner with others everytime?"

"Why? Does my opinion matters?" I asked facing his face that already inches away from mine.

"Of course. Your opinions matter the most." He said pinching the bridge of my nose.

My face heated up so I just hug him to avoid seeing my face that is now blushing.

"Amm... Surely it will cost a lot but it can strengthen the pack bond, so it's worth it. I was also thinking the same for my pack. It just that I don't have enough time to planned it. Money isn't enough, it will also include a perfect place and tons of cooks. There was an event that we have a buffet and it's really has a lot of works to do." I replied still hugging him. "I was kinda feel bad about the Omegas after that," I added earning a hearty laugh from him.

"Softy," he said before lifting me up. "Paper works can wait. It's time for us to visit your newly acquired territory, Alpha." He added. So I jumped off before masking his scent to mine. And he also do the same way as I.

We walked in the hallway with a prying eyes surround us. I also keep a casual distance from him to avoid suspicion.

"It's the first time Alpha bought a female guest. Surely Luna will be mad is she found out about this," the female omega said between her mindlink with the other one. I accidentally overheard them, Really.

I narrowed my eyes to them so they bowed to submit.

"Luna huh?" I mindlink Pierre. He stopped then look at me worriedly.

"I swear, I didn't do anything to make them assume that she is my luna. It was the elder." He nervously replied but I just shrug.

"Chill. I was just kidding. For sure I'm much better than her. Besides I'm your one and only true mate." I said emphasizing the word Mate.

My confidence doesn't only comes from mine. Afomia also contribute to it. She said that, she has the hold of Pierre wolfs. He is head over heels for her as what she said.

"Glad you know it, love" he said before smirking.
