Lumina POV
It's been a week since Pierre and Darwin stay here. While Gamma Earos went back after three days to manage their pack and explain to the elders the situation except the fact that their Alpha found his mate.
"Lumina," Pierre said.
Both of us got used calling our first name disregarding our titles.
"Yes?"
"Do you have time?" He said sneakily.
I'm now in the office by the way.
"For how long? I still have my meetings later." I said while reading the papers on my table that needed my signatures.
"For about 2 hours or so." He said. I look at my watch before noding.
"Great!" He said before leading me to leave my office.
A week that he's been here, he keeps on pestering me, but I don't know why I didn't even get mad.
"Mind to close your eyes?" He asked before showing me a black fabric. I just raised my eyebrows before closing my eyes.
"I hope Zake isn't the one behind your sneaky attitude." I said but he just laugh.
For a while he's been here, Zake and Darwin and him has been hanging out.
After he tied the fabric on my eyes he then, lead me downstairs. And we just keep on walking. I didn't even sense any of my pack members.
After a while of walking, I heard a sounds of water falling to the surface.
We then stop. "We're here." He announced before untying the fabric.
It took a while before my eyes got used to it's surrounding.
The first thing I saw was the falls, then the table with the candle on the middle. The a bunch of roses and petals on the ground.
My heart seems to burst while my stomach filled with butterflies rejoicing inside.
"This..." I didn't finish my sentence when he put his finger on my lips silencing me.
"If you may," he gently said before pulling the chair guiding me to sit. So I did.
He then snap his fingers, and with that. The romantic music started playing while Marry, Zake, and their mates started walking towards us holding a bunch of foods.
They, then place it on our table before bowing at us, then leave.
"It took a while before convincing them to cooperate," he said while smiling then put some dishes on my plate.
"Wait what?! Look! Our mate is filling our plate! He already accept us!" My wolf uttered happily.
I immediately smile upon his gestures.
"Thank you." I said.
He just smile and so, I did the same. For the time he's been here, he keeps accompanying me all the time.
I also saw, how he smile upon my gestures.
After we finished eating he stood up before asking me to dance.
"Amm.. shall we?" He said, I just reached his arms and with that, he pull me up before enveloping his arms to my waist. As our skin touch, I feel an electrocuting pleasure. Making my eyes shut. Our body is dancing in rhythm while my heart beat loudly so as he. I can hear his heart beat, so he is to mine.
We just keep on smiling to each other, memorizing each others features and letting our wolf communicate.
"I never thought that this day would come." He said while looking at my eyes.
"So was I," I said remembering all the hardship I've been through.
"I, I'm not like this in my pack. I never been this childish before. And me, standing here with my mate seems like a dream to me. And if this is a dream. I don't wanna wake up anymore." He said seriously.
This line seems like a corny line in the romantic drama but the way he delivered the words makes my heart flutter.
"I also think that this is just a dream, a dream that I know that will hardly be real." I said before smiling.
"I know how to make sure that this is real." He said before displaying his slay smile.
"How—" I was caught off guard when he pulled me closer to his body before holding my chin up and me, without realizing it. Our lips meets. I was frozen, but when he moved his head—trying to find a perfect angle, that's when I responded.
I encircled my arms in his neck bring me closer to him and I ended up tiptoing.
His tongue knock on my lips asking permission to enter, so I bite his lower lip before opening my mouth so his tongue can enter.
Our tongue is fighting dominantly. No one dared to submit, not until I bite his lips again, that's when he let me dominate him.
His hands is roaming at my back, as the heat increases. But we suddenly stop because of the sudden alarm.
It means there are intruder near the pack border. This is one of my invention, it will detect a rogue scent and it will directly set an alarm when the scent is already at one kilometer near our border.
The traps is already set when the Alarm rings. It's full of silver and wolfsbane. And no one succeed entering the pack border harmless.
Of course I'm not that bad. What if they are just passing by or wanted to seek shelter so, I added some program on the system, making them know that we already know that they intrude. If they really wanted to attack they won't stop but if it's other way around, they just need to fill the form and pledge to the moon goddess.
We planted tons of CCTV around the packs border so to be honest, no one really succeed on entering our border ever since I succeed inventing those traps and system.
"What's going on?" He said fiercely. Angered the fact that we've been interrupted.
"Rogues," I said before letting go of him. "I need to check it first,"
I said before running and so he follow.
When I arrive at the scene, I saw a a fifteen rogues base on their smell.
I also noticed the green dot on them. Means they sign up for shelter.
I saw how they feared me but, the father I think... Stood up, facing me bravely.
"We, we heard this pack accept rogues and.. treated fairly at everyone. We are here to seek shelter. We've been a rogue for almost 2 years now, the only reason for our sanity was our daughter." He said without beating around the bush.
I just nod, letting him continue.
"We are from the North, my family was about to go to the west, but we meet the others going here— telling us that we can possibly find shelter in this pack. Our Alpha is hunting us—" I cut him off before saying,
"And do you expect us to welcome you? With an alpha chasing after your head?" I said as I stare at him. I saw how he turned pale before looking down disappointedly.
"State the reason," I said before stepping forward.
I immediately saw a glint of hope in his eyes as he look directly in my eyes.
So much guts for a warrior eh? No One, even my first ranked warrior dared to look at me directly at my eyes. He must be something...
"My family..." He said clinching his fist." Whenever I'm on duty they... They fvcking mistreated them!" He roared making my mate step forward and towerd me. But I just touch Pierre's back making him chill.
I can feel the way he roared that he holds a high rank base on the power illuminates through him
"We'll talk the details inside. But, all of you must be checked first. I'll let someone handle y'all." I said before grabbing Pierre.
