The Panto was in the interval. Tom and Alan got up and headed to the bar to grab a quick drink.
"WOW! All the hard work that she has put in the last few months is paying off." Tom mentioned.
"Yeah, but she shouldn't be all the way up North to achieve her dreams. She should be back at home achieving them." Alan was not happy that his daughter was in Yorkshire at all.
"Hey, let her live her dreams a little Alan. She's doing what she loves the most. Singing and Dancing."
Alan turned away from Tom in a huff and headed to grab a programme for the evening. He just wanted to read what they had wrote about Bella in the programme.
'Isabella Marie Rickman – Cinderella.
This is Isabella's first Professional Pantomime. From the moment that she walked into the audition back in London, we knew that she would be a star. A star that she is.
Isabella is the youngest female to win the Miss Dance of Great Britain at the age of 16 on her first try in Blackpool. Since then, she's kept up her singing (Two solo singles) and dancing career back at the Sampson Academy in Kensington. She's the loving daughter of the Movie Legend Alan Rickman.
The future is shining bright for Miss Rickman with many more roles to come. We welcome Isabella Rickman to Sheffield.'
Alan finished reading what was written about his daughter. He was actually happy what was written.
The bells were ringing for the audience to go back in for Act 2 of the pantomime.
Bella was dressed in her ballroom dress. She checked that the release for the dress was easily accessed so she could whip the dress off during the Jellicle Ball Dance. Her tiara was pinned securely to her hair so it wouldn't fall out.
The silver shoes that Bella were to wear were not right. So luckily Bella had some silver shoes that she had worn for one of her Academy recitals. She had these approved from the costumier to make sure that she was happy that they went with the dress. But then Bella realised that she was going to be doing leaps and jumps, landing in ballroom heels wouldn't be good for her. So, a pair of Jazz Boots were covered in silver glitter.
The main curtain was in, Bella took off the main part of her dress and started to go through her leaping section of the Jellicle Ball dance where she would be doing this section on her own. Bella felt fine doing this section. Louis was stood off to one side and he was watching Bella practice on the stage.
"Wow that was amazing Bella." Louis headed over to where Bella was trying to put her dress back on.
"Oh, thank you Louis. It takes a lot of practice and energy to complete that section."
"Do you need a hand with your dress?" Louis asked.
"Please if you don't mind."
Louis held up the dress so that Bella could fasten it and put the fastener back where she could release it.
"Are you ready to go?" The stage manager came up to Bella.
"Yes, I am ready to go. I just need to make sure that everything is in place, including the shoe that is to be left on the steps." Bella headed up the staircase to check that the shoe was there.
"Right, I better get into place ready to come up after the sisters." Bella smiled as she just remembered something that she wanted to do.
"Ooh just before we go up, my boyfriend is sat in the audience. If you could find out where he is sat, I would like to have him up on the stage with my dad for Gangnam Style. He will refuse, but if you can get them both up it would be great fun." Bella giggled.
"Do you want your boyfriend up for your Magic Works song?"
"I will let you know later. When do you need to know by?"
"Shut Up and Dance."
"I will get back to you."
The show was called to start and front of house clearance had been given to the Directing Stage Manager. So, the show then started up again with the music from Phantom of the Opera, Masquerade.
