Y/n's point of view:
I wake up with an hour and a half before school starts and get dressed, eat breakfast and do my usual daily routine. I practise the piano for fun just before leaving the house and walking towards school. After school I have plans to explore the main town and see what shops and cafes they have to offer. I make my way to school. The sky is fully clear, and the heat brings a nice change to the weather from the last place I lived. The warm air relaxes and comforts me on my journey
Once I get there I spot some new posters in the hallways trying to promote school etiquette: 'If you want to succeed, work hard and follow the rules! Don't be like Class Five!' I shake my head in disapproval as I reach my classroom.
Within five minutes of sitting down, I hear something strange. Talking between my classmates? 'What brought this on?' I pondered. I decided to listen in to... what were their names again? Ah yes, Kish and Yuuki.
Kish: "Have you seen the new posters? They're quite fitting." I already don't like where this is going.
Yuuki: "Yeah, those other classes need to know their place and know what happens if they keep being lazy." She replied with a sense of pleasure in her words
Kish: "Don't be so harsh on them, I don't think they're lazy, just naturally stupid! In fact, in a couple years time we'll probably be seeing them serving us when we go to McDonalds!" They both laughed wickedly after her remark, making my blood boil. Thankfully, I managed to control myself.
Many hours later, the school day ends, and yet again, it's time to go home. I didn't see many other students other than my own classmates since one class had study hall for the whole school day while another had full-day detention. Just as I go past the school gates, I feel a tap on my shoulder. It's the blue-haired person I talked to last time. Come to think of it, are they a boy or a girl? They look cute and definitely have some feminine features but they are wearing a boys' uniform so I don't want to assume. I think they are male. I guess I'll have to pop the question whenever I get the chance.
Nagisa's point of view:
As lessons finally came to a close it was home time. Now's a better time than ever to apologise to him. However, it was harder than I thought. The guy looks handsome, I probably wouldn't forget what he looks like, wait what!? Never mind that. Trying to spot him from the crowd of students desperate to get out is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. I eventually find him and run up to him. To get his attention, I tap him on his left shoulder.
Nagisa: "Hi, I just want to apologise for yesterday, I was acting rude because I thought you were going to act like all the others in your class. But I shouldn't assume, and for that I'm sorry." I give a small bow as a show of respect and to convey that I really mean it.
Y/n: "It's okay, I figured that may have been the case. I'm just glad to see you look better now. My name's Y/n, what's yours?" He coolly replies. Just like yesterday, his voice sounds clear and soothing. Oh right, he asked for my name.
Nagisa: "Nagisa Shiota." I say as I'm still sorta surprised that someone from the top class would even bother to reply, never mind ask me a question.
Y/n: "That's a nice name, Nagisa. Actually, while I'm here I may as well ask: you're a boy right?" He timidly asks as if he is afraid if he got it wrong. I'm actually quite pleased he didn't go the other way around first, since most people think I'm a girl at first glance. It fills me with a strange happiness to finally hear someone ask me if I'm a male instead of a female.
Nagisa: "That's right!" I proudly exclaimed, catching him by surprise with my loud but cheery response. But then, he asks me another question. One which makes all my bravado go away in an instant.
Y/n: "Well, glad I got it right, I usually don't like to assume. Come to think of it, what class are you in, I never usually see you around during any breaks or during lunch?" He questioned while I anticipated dread filling my body. But, it didn't. Something made me feel that this specific person wouldn't really care what class I was in. So, I pluck up my courage and finally reply...
Nagisa: "I-I'm in 'Class 5'" I stuttered, awaiting a reply.
Y/n: "Huh, well. I guess I'm disappointed in you Nagisa." My fear re-enters my body and I mentally brace myself for what comes next- "That you stuttered when answering. That means that you're ashamed of being in that class. Sure, it's not ideal, but I wont see you any differently for it. Keep that in mind." He calmly states, leaving me shocked. I'm also intensely relieved and even somewhat happy. There's a slight warm feeling in my chest spreading by the second.
Nagisa: "Thank you Y/n, I'll remember that. Hope to see you at school tomorrow!" I reply and then walk away with, a slight blush appearing on my face? 'Meh, probably just the heat from the sun'. I thought as I made my way home.
Y/n's point of view:
I walked around the town, thinking of the conversation that took place a few minutes prior. Nagisa seems like a nice, caring person considering he apologised even though he didn't need to. 'Not to mention he looks adorable' I thought while continuing to walk through the entrance to the shopping mall. Every time I see him, I feel warm but calm at the same time. It was also nice to have someone to properly talk to. 'Maybe this is the start of a new friendship' I thought as I finished walking round the mall (around 45 minutes later) and headed home, finishing any work and going straight to sleep.
