She lay there motionless, only hair moving on her head
The AC blasting, we don't want her red
The last thing we want is for her to end up deadShe lay there still, eyes open and all
Yet she couldn't say a word like she had lock jaw
She could see and hear good, perfectly you could say
She could see her friends, those who play all day"wake up Avery, come out to play! Open your mind and let us take you away. We can take you to a wonderland where the pain goes away, and well make it back before the break of day!"
Joyful little children, from 5-8
Whether they're ghost or spirits, they both can relateThey lift my spirits, and literally their own
I think they're incapable of watching their tone"Oh poor Avery, my sweet little girl...I hope your dreams are filled with everything but gore. Dream of freedom, and of family too. Dream you wake up, don't give up boo."
I shed a tear as i looked at my mother in fear
Unable to speak as my heart skipped a beat"I want you to fight, i really do! But treatment is expensive and i don't know what to do.."
My eyes were red, mouth locked in place
My breathing grew harder all along the way
One tiny stroke, was all it would take for me to take my last breath and take my life awayThat's how i died, as Avery May
I now go with the spirits and help make other little girls to make their day
