Johnathon volunteered to make the approach to Mr. Burgess in London based on what Gabriel told him. Thanks to Jason's diligence, the four knew exactly where he'd be a full week in advance. Unless Aleksandrov called him away, which the four doubted would happen.

They chose to make the approach on a Wednesday, where his final meeting was going to be held across from an old safehouse that hadn't been used in a while. It already had all the equipment, just in case a place like that was needed. Johnathon didn't know how many places William's people had for exactly that purpose and wasn't going to ask. He was just grateful they wouldn't need to take time to set up anything.

The location being across from a safehouse was clearly a message from God they couldn't ignore.

Getting the four of them to the safehouse without any of William's people staying, was easier than needing to send others along with them. The larger the group, the greater the risk. They also knew God was watching over them and would be safe. But couldn't guarantee the same for anyone else.

A gray van dropped them off in the alley close to the entrance with bags in their hands on Wednesday morning after the homeless had left and waited just long enough to let them out before driving slowly towards the other end and driving away.

Johnathon looked down both sides of the alley to see if anyone was watching. He didn't have to see the others to know he wasn't the only one. They all looked for some sign of trouble based on experience and found nothing that stood out.

The driver already alerted Jason and he was waiting to unlock the door for them from his distant location. After that, they'd handle it themselves from within. He was too busy focusing on other things to keep a watch on them. If anything happened that caused the button within to fail, one of them could always call Jason.

Donna was the first to enter, leaving him outside with David and Yuri. The unpleasant scents of the graffiti scrawled alley told him homeless had slept there the previous night and would return later in the evening. During the day, they were run off, before coming back, which meant no witnesses to see them enter.

One after another pressed past the barrier and waited between the walls for the click. Once they were safely inside, they dusted off the equipment and checked everything to make certain it still worked. The cameras were focused on the busy streets and alleys, which they were all grateful for. Having to go without one of the cameras wasn't something any of them wanted.

With everything in place, it was just a matter of waiting for Mr. Burgess to get dropped off.

The moment arrived and there was no place Mr. Burgess' car could park to wait for him. It'd have to drive somewhere else to wait for the meeting to end before coming back. His security remained in the car and others were waiting inside the office building. Except the driver, no one but Mr. Burgess left the car. The guards inside watched without leaving the building.

Being the MI5 Director General meant dealing with the occasional people who didn't want other security personnel anywhere near them. They trusted their own people and only their own people. It was another sign from God.

Johnathon knew God was going to delay his car from returning on time, which gave him a chance to speak with Mr. Burgess in private. He didn't know what he was going to say. God would be the one to guide his words.
