SECOND IDENTITY // GOT7 MARK

PROMISE

JB was sweating a lot and moved around.
"Jackson, give me a wet towel please. And hurry!" Jaelyn said and Jackson ran inside his tent to get a towel and soaked it in with water.
"Here. Will he be okay?" Jackson asked as he handed her the wet towel.
"I can't tell. I need to stay beside him for a while. If his condition doesn't change I need to go back with him where the teachers are. He's really hot right now." Jaelyn said while touching his forehead and then placed the towel on it. Jackson smirked at her as she had said the last sentence. Jaelyn saw that and glared and rolled her eyes at him.
"I didn't meant that. I need to check his temperature." Jaelyn said and placed her huge bag next to her and opened the medication compartment. She took the thermometer out and put it on his armpit.

Wakting for a while as Jackson then decided to ask her something.
"Jaelyn, why do you have so many medical stuff and what did actually happen to him." he asked concerned.
"Well, maybe come in and I'll explain and answer all your questions." Jaelyn said wnd sighed.
He sat next to her and JB. The thermometer made a noise and she took it out and looked at it. 42*C.

"He has a high fever. And about your question.. Well, JB had been shot." she simply explained as she looked at JB's wound and didn't look at Jackson.
"W-What? How? Who did that?" he asked.
"Well, I noticed that someone was looking at us as we were all inside the lake. I guess it was that person, that's all I can say." she sighed.
"Who the fuck would do that?!" he yelled out of frustration. Jaelyn stayed calm.
"I think it was one of your 'fans'.." Jaelyn said.
"Wait, what?! How can you say that! They wouldn't be our fans if they'd do such things!", Jackson yelled and defended his fans.
"I didn't mean those types of fans! I mean Sasaengs! FLOFs!" she yelled back when she suddenly saw JB starting to wake up.
"Oh.. sorry." Jackson apologized embarrassed.
"Jackson can you go out for a while?" she asked him looking at Jackson for once.
"Y-yeah, sure. If you need something just yell." he said and left looking at JB who woke up once more.

"Jaebum?" she asked gently.
He slowly wanted to sit up but was too weak.
"Jaebum, it's better if you don't move right now." Jaelyn said as she helped him lay back down again. He slowly opened his eyes completely. Jaelyn's eyes widen.
"Jaelyn.. I'm cold." he groaned.
"Huh, uhm yeah here take my blanket." Jaelyn said and put it on him tucking him in.
"Is.. everything.. okay with..me? I'm feeling.. so weak." he said quietly.
"You have a fever and I have to check on it every 5 minutes. If it doesn't get better we both need to go back." she explained.
He closed his eyes and nodded at her. At that moment Jaelyn opened the other compartment of her bag and got her MacBook out. Just as she opened it Riya appeared again.
Jaelyn placed her finger on her lips to tell Riya to be quiet. She plugged in her earphones and gave her an 'okay' sign.

//JAELYN
RIYA: Yah! Why didn't you pick up your phone?!
JAELYN: I couldn't! The guys wanted to go for a swim and I couldn't just leave them alone.
RIYA: Yeah, I saw it..
JAELYN: Saw what?
RIYA: How you were trying to safe them
JAELYN: How?!
RIYA: You video taped it. I guess you didn't notice that then..
JAELYN: Aah. So you saw that girl too, right?
RIYA: Yes.
JAELYN: Can you do some research about her?
RIYA: I already did. Well, her name is Park Juna. She's 17 and got kicked out of her parents house when she was 13. Since then she lives with her aunt, Minah.
JAELYN: Did she do any bad stuff?
RIYA: Well, she got suspended from her previous school because she broke into the school system to get straight A's. Since 3 months she's attending the school you're in.
JAELYN: Alright.. Can you tell me what gun she used?
RIYA: Yes, just take a picture of the bullet with your lenses.

Jaelyn blinked once.
"Done. Did you get it?", Jaelyn asked looking at Riya on her screen.
"Yes.. and it's a sniper she used." she said.
"What about the bullet?" Jaelyn questioned as she put her gloves on and took the bullet. You took a cotton bud and
swiped the bullet with it. You coated a little glass plate with the cotton bud and put it in your laptop.
"Did you get it?" Jaelyn asked and looked over to JB who fell asleep again.
"Not yet, wait a sec." Riya said while typing on her keyboard.
Jaelyn took her earphones out and placed her laptop aside to check JB's fever.

"Oh, JB.. why didn't I think about two targets.. I'm so sorry for not saving you from any harm.. aish.. Even though you might not hear me right now.. I'm really sorry." she apologized and got interrupted by Riya.
She unplugged her earphones from her device as it didn't matter anymore to be secret about it since JB was fast asleep fighting his cold.

"So what did you find out?" Jaelyn asked.
"Jaelyn, you know how to do a 4dhD, right?!" Riya asked.
"Yeah, I learned it at school. But why are you ask- *she interrupted herself* No. No way?!" Jaelyn hissed as  her eyes widen.
Riya stayed quiet and nodded slowly.
"Jaelyn, you have to do it right now! After that you need to get him to the hospital. And with hospital, I mean our home." Riya said in all seriousness.
Jaelyn did what she was told and didn't ask any  more questions.

She had never thought that she'd have to do a 4dhD ever since it was a game about time. Jaelyn started. Injecting JB with amnesthesia so he wouldn't feel anything and stays asleep for an hour or so.

"Riya, what did you find for me to do a 4dhD on JB." Jaelyn asked while working on JB.
"Uhm, well.. I found traces of Q.N.T on the bullet." Riya started.
"What does this mean." Jaelyn asked concerned as she kept on doing the 4dhD.
"Jaelyn, it's poison in powder format. Luckily the bullet striped him. If it was stuck in his body he wouldn't have a high chance of surviving." Riya explained.

Jaelyn couldn't believe her words.
"W-what have I done.." she sniffed and whiped her tears away with the back of her hand.
"The poison would spread and take over his whole body it's just a matter of time. 1st he'll get a high fever. 2nd he's eye color will change. If the poison takes over his body.. He migh-" Riya said but Jaelyn stopped her from saying it.
"That won't happen. Because I'm done." Jaelyn said as she had succeeded doing the procedures and took her gloves off.
"Jaelyn, you need to get him out of there. I'll contact our company to bring a look a like JYP van to your location that will bring you two to our apartment." Riya said.
"And what about the others?!" Jaelyn asked in worry as she started packing her things.
"Another agent will take care of them just like one agent is with Yugyeom, Bambam, Jinyoung and Youngjae in a team.
"Okay, I packed all the important stuff. I think I'm able to carry him." Jaelyn said looking at Riya.
"But be careful. There is a 1 to 1000 chance that the poison will still spread regardless of treating it. Good Luck and take care!" Riya said and disappeared from the screen.

Jaelyn turned her attention back to JB and tried waking him up.
"JB, wake up! Yah, Im Jaebum ireona!" she said shaking him slightly. Jaebum responded as he just groaned at her.
"Jaebum! We need to go, do you understand?" Jaelyn said and tried to sit him up and supported him.
She took a piece of paper and wrote something to tell the others that she had to go back with him. Jaelyn sat JB up and put a warm oversized sweater over him just in case he gets cold outside. She tried to carry him on her back while carrying her bag with one hand. The others were in Jackson and Namjoon's tent. She was glad that she had practiced carrying heavy objects for a long time in her school days. As it was part of emergency and survival cases.

"Jaebum, hold on. Okay? We'll be there in a minute." Jaelyn said while she kept on walking their way back to where they were dropped off by the bus.
"Jaebum, even though you might not listen to me right know.. I know that you are strong enough to go through this! So please, fight against that poison in your body! Do you understand?" she said as her feelings took over her and tears streamed down her cheeks.
"Jaebum, I'm sorry that you have to go through all of this. I'm really sorry. I hope you can forgive me." she said as she kept on walking.
After a while she saw the end of the forest and the JYP van waiting for them.
"JB, we're almost there, okay? Just hold o-", Jaelyn said and suddenly felt a twitch coming from her leg and tripped on the ground with JB on her back. Letting go of her bag to catch herself and JB she yelped in pain but tried to get back up.
She tried her best to hold back her tears and ignored the pain as good as possible.
"JB, I'm sorry. Uugh. I'll make sure that you get well soon. I promise." she said as she proceeded to piggy back him and took her bag again.
Jaelyn yelped each time she took a step forward.
"We're almost there, JB. We, we can do this!!" she screamed as the pain increased with every step. Her vision started getting blurry due to her tears. And all she thought was "I promised you to safe you!! I have to!!"
