Jimin closely observed his bestfriend who was now moving here and there with such a soulless gesture. He noted Taehyung had sighed for the fifth time today, looking at the counter sadly. It was starting to get annoying, annoying that Taehyung didn't tell him anything.
Jimin walked closer softly tapped his back, "Did you hook up with anyone? Is that why you look so dead today?" Jimin asked, half joking, half serious.
"Shut it Jimin. I'm not in the mood to joke around."
"When have you ever had the mood....."
Taehyung again glared at his co-worker, and if looks could kill, the guy would have been buried ten feet deep into the ground by now.
That got Jimin quiet for awhile, much to Taehyung's relief before he opened his mouth again, ready to start 'annoy Taehyung daily quest' for the day.
"Be honest with me Tae, you did hook up with someone right?"
"I swear to God Park Jimin!"
"I mean, there's nothing wrong in admitting it."
Taehyung just gritted his teeth, trying his best to not just jump and break off his bestfriend's neck right this moment. Jimin narrowed his eyebrows, when Taehyung avoided that remark, walking away from him to make the order of a new customer.
Taehyung wasn't in a bad mood but he wasn't in his good condition either. It was already four days he lastly saw his boss's daughter, sure he will be upset. She herself was the one who implied the thought of meeting again. Why would she even say that at the first place when she was just going to disappear like this?
He didn't know why was he so upset about it. Why he was in despair to meet those beautiful brown orbs again.
And when he thinks about it logically, everything made sense. She was the heir of Kims, his boss's daughter while he was just a mere employee at a café out-of hundred her father owned. Everything he thought about sounded stupid and hilarious then.
"Thanks," Jimin smiled in reply as the customer took his lungo. He turned around to see Taehyung pouring out some espresso shots from the machine obviously for the desperate customer waiting for his americano. This time Jimin sighed watching how Taehyung passed away the order.
"Enough with curiosity! Just spill it out already, what happened?" Jimin joins Taehyung at the counter.
The latter just shook his head shrugging his shoulder in process, as he says."I will get some hazelnuts from the kitchen, it's almost over." Skeptical, Jimin dropped his eyes, his gaze landing on the shelf of delectable looking pastries under his nose.
Jimin nodded when Taehyung had already took his path.
"Excuse me?"
He flickered his eyes to the voice acting all cool as he hided the fact he was first actually startled. Jimin simply smiled not showing off, the little flustered feeling made by the gorgeous female stood infront of him. "May I help you?"
Her eyes lazily looked around, looking for a specific male. Jimin's eyebrows rose up, suspiciously following her gaze. He clears his throat grabbing her attention.
"......umm, yeah." She mumbled, rubbing the back of her neck, her skin colouring the lightest shade of pink as Jimin stared at her patiently, a frown forming on his own handsome face.
"Jisoo-ssi?" Jimin and the female quickly followed the voice, where stood Taehyung a tray of hazelnut cakes in his hands.
"Hello." Jisoo greeted him, her voice low and slightly amused, as she inched toward the counter. It was sleek made out of black marble, and so clean someone could've probably eaten off it.
