"Noona? Eh? No. She is four years old."
Pin-drop silence covered the room. Jimin blinked a few times, trying to process what Jungkook just said. "I beg your pardon.", he said in disbelief.
Jimin had always considered himself a young teen with an amazing physique and someone who is incredible in dancing. And this comment made by a kid who he did not know, made him rethink his manliness. "I- I-", Jimin stammered. But he could not complete the sentence because he heard a loud growl from nearby and then discovered it was from Jungkook. Jimin giggled.
"Let's go grab something from that cafe...", Jimin said as he stood up.
Jungkook followed him timidly as before. Something about this unknown hyung made him feel comfortable and safe. It might be his warm smile or his kind gestures or it can be both or it can be something totally different. He did not know. But he did know that he enjoyed that hyung's company.
The duo waited in awkward silence at the table for their food to get ready. Jungkook was playing with the hem of his t-shirt while the other had suddenly found something to fascinate about in the ceiling. After a few seconds of staying in awkwardness, Jimin cleared his throat, grabbing Jungkook's attention.
"Do you mind telling me if you are really lost? If so I can help you find your parents or guardian or if you know their numbers you can call them using my phone.", Jimin explained to Jungkook who was looking at him with big doe eyes.
Jungkook fiddled with his fingers again.
"I think-"
"Yeah?"
"I think the food is ready."
Silence. "Oh yeah! I'll go get it.", Jimin exclaimed and hurried off to get them. He came back with a tray filled with delicious delicacies. "I asked you something, kid.", he said as he sat himself down.
"No, thank you. I came alone... you know... to have something. I think I can find myself back home.", Jungkook explained while showing his bunny-like teeth that Jimin found very cute.
"Ah... I see.", Jimin chuckled. "Well... in that case, my little brother, why don't I treat you with something you like, hm? This place is awesome, for your information.", Jimin informed the younger while pointing to the tray in front of them.
"I can see that."
