Vacation

"Yerin, are you ready?" Sowon asks from the living room while Yerin is still inside the bedroom packing some clothes. They decide to have a short vacation outside the country where they can date freely in public.

"Yes I'm up," Yerin responds with an energetic reply. Sowon had loaded all their luggage into the car the day before, so today they only had to carry their light luggage.

Rather than drive directly to the airport, they dropped their pups at Yerin's parents' house since it was closest to their final destination. They can pick them up when they return later.

"It is too sad we can't bring them together with us," says Yerin after sending the pups over.

"Don't be sad. We can have camping afterwards, and we can bring them along," Sowon assures her.

Sowon is locking her hands with Yerin and looking at her sweetly as they wait for their flight. The flight is only about an hour away, and they're waiting at the boarding platform. Yerin is excited to plan out some places that must be included in their itinerary.

"Finally we are here," Yerin stretched in the hotel's comfy bed. They just land and arrive at the hotel where they booked for their vacation.

Sowon asked, "When are we going to our first destination?" after the long flight, she needs a rest and the passengers' seats are not as comfortable as beds.

"I booked a local restaurant for our dinner based on the suggestion on the tourist website," says Yerin while checking her tablet.

"O ... Kay ... Zzz ..." she hums and falls asleep. Without any replies other than nodding at the statement, Yerin tries to call Sowon a few more times to no avail.

"Babe, you can't sleep like that, at least remove your makeup first," Yerin tries to wake her.

"He...help me to, I'm too tired to move," she turns herself and makes her face facing upside, using her arm to block the intrusion of room light. Once again, she falls into a deep sleep.

Yerin nags along the way to get their skin care product out of the bag. "That sis! How could she just waste her top beauty face like that?"

Remove her hand and place it in an appropriate position. Yerin pours the cleansing water on the cotton pad and lightly dabs it. At times, Yerin just stares at her, wondering how much luck she had to find the one she loves most in her life.

"The dinner is delicious!" exclaims Sowon as they stroll along the river under the moon after the dinner. They hold their hands together freely in the public and with masks on of course.

Yerin stops at a certain point and leans herself against the palisade and Sowon follows, leans forward, trapping her in the middle, hugging from behind.

It would be great if we were as free as here," says Yerin.

"Don't we have enough freedom back in our country? We still can hold hands, hugging each other whenever we want."

"But, I can't kiss you," Yerin pouts, slightly tilting her head to meet Sowon's.

"You pervert!" she pokes her, causing her to giggle.

"Come on, bring you somewhere," without Yerin could say anything, Sowon leads her to a local bazaar not far from the restaurant.

"How do you know this place?" Yerin is surprised because she did not know Sowon knows this place as well. Other than booking their transport and flight ticket here, she barely takes part in planning where they need to visit and Sowon nodded when Yerin brought it up.

"I just asked the waiter when I paid him, and he suggested this place. Do you know this place too?"

"It is on our list but not for today. I planned it for the day before we leave. Since we are here today, we can arrange it later."

"Don't waste our time then. Let's go!"

"Babe, I found something that you may like," says Sowon after spotting the accessories stall from afar. Sowon picks a pair of earrings and decides whether they will look good on Yerin. The style sold is plain but classic, and the earrings she picks out have a small yellow flower embedded.

"You can take the one with the butterfly and we can make it into the couple earrings," says Yerin as she sees another pair with a butterfly and shows it to Sowon.

"Flowers and butterflies sounds good. We'll get it and maybe you could get me a drink? I'm thirsty. Then we meet in front of the water fountain. Is it okay for you?"

Later on, Sowon is sitting on the bench while waiting for her lover to return. She is sure that Yerin is not lost in the bustling bazaar.

She feels a cool sensation on her cheek from behind, and she is surprised to see Yerin coming from behind her.

"What are you looking into?" she hands the drink to her lover and asks.

"The Ferris wheel is beautiful, isn't it? I've been attracted to it since we entered the huge facility just now," Sowon says staring at it.

Crap, I'm not feeling well right now.
