This is where we depart baby
Eros and Anansa stood next to each other as she revelled on about her plans for him. He couldn't quite grasp how he had made it here, how he stood in the same place she had humiliated him in. He had suffered a week of deep pain, his drive pushing his forward as the commandment of Lust started to come to an end. During this time his body was pulled to see her, his soul calling out to the one it had started to connect to but he ignored it.
He couldn't put her in harms way for his own disgusting selfish needs. He was not human but instead a disgusting creature that lusted for the downfall of her kind. He could no longer fool himself, Arabella was better off without him. 'In order for you to fully transform into your incubus self you must accept the fate of lust. Unlike lusters, incubus and succubus have control over their power. They can use it to their most full extent or to the littlest amount if they wish be. The only way to do this is by devoting your life to the kingdom and having sex with me'
Anansa said her words so calmly, she wished for this to go smoothly, with no room for error. 'You will swear your life to the acts of lust by forming a blood pact and then will seal it with our union' Her eyes started to glow a deep red, lust flowing through her veins as she stared at Eros. 'You will become even more powerful than I, you and I will rule this kingdom and restore it to the esteemed position it once was' All Eros could do was nod, his life had no meaning.
He was a machine driven by a chemical imbalance, it humoured him how his kind looked down on humans but it was them who were inferior. They were unable to control themselves, they were slaves to a feeling, to a mere emotion that was a temporary high. Like addicts they would seek out their drug and keep abusing it until they would die. Yet humans could choose, they were free to feel, to think, to speak. All of which he could not. 'We will complete the ritual as soon as possible, in the mean time I suggest you gain back all the energy you lost' Anansa said as she walked away from him.
He had hardly spoken a word, in fact he had nothing to say. If it wasn't about the blonde girl who loved history, if it wasn't about how her brown eyes were always full of joy, if it wasn't about how her body moved in sync with his then there was no need to speak at all. He felt as if he could go a lifetime without ever uttering a word again. If only, if only I could see her again he thought deeply but his feet moved before he could register what he was doing.

Arabella had been utterly miserable, she felt as if she had lost. It was only now she had realised how much she had cared for him, how not only her body was devoted to him but the depths of her heart. She couldn't bare the pain. Arabella was now at home in her apartment, her father had stayed over after hearing his daughter was in hospital previously.
Arabella felt very little physical pain, after she had woken up her body had eased. Sure she had felt weak but nothing compared to the pain in her chest, the pain of losing him. She hated him, she hated how easily he walked away from her, from them. She hated how he spewed his cowardice lies and walked away from her. I guess this was what his kind did, what they were. 'Arabella, stop thinking so hard and rest' Her father said, his broad hand covering her forehead.
To say her father was worried was a complete understatement, he was sickened with fright. The thought of his daughter unwell made his skin crawl with fear. 'I am fine pa, my body feels fine' Arabella repeated for the hundredth time. He had taken time away from work to stay with her, cancelling all his important meetings and camping out in her home. She did greatly appreciate her father but at this point she just wanted to be alone.
'What happened Bella? The doctor said you was severely dehydrated' asked Hermes Sarris. Despite it all, he didn't want to prod too far into the truth of the situation. His daughter needed him, not a detective who was interrogating her. 'I am sorry dad, I was really stressed from exams. I will take it easy next time' Arabella lied. She couldn't tell him the truth, she couldn't tell anyone the truth.
'Its okay baby, I just want my kiddo to be happy and healthy ok?' 'Okay dad' she replied to him, her finger interlocking his as she promised him she would be safe. 'Thats my girl, I need to start going back to work so I will be out of your hair. Have a good nights sleep tonight and take it easy okay. I will call everyday' he said as he kissed her head and walked towards the door.
Despite all the love she felt from friends and family, none of it mattered because he was not there. He wasn't taking care of her, he wasn't loving and adorning her every movement. Instead he had allowed his desires to usurp him. She could hardly blame him. This was what he was, it was in his nature.
'I just want to see him. Just again, please' she sobbed to herself as she leaned against the door, her soul was crying for answers. She couldn't let him go, she didn't want to. 'Bella... you shouldn't have brought me here' a familiar voice sung from behind her. She looked behind her with watery eyes, not realising that her deep desire had brought him here.
'I can't be near you Arabella' Eros voiced carefully. Truthfully his chest was pounding madly, his heart accelerating like a formula 1 car. He couldn't help but feel something as he stared at her. Despite her watery eyes, she was gorgeous. She always had been. 'Why Eros? Is it because of what happened? It was no ones fault! I was just overwhelmed, that was all' she rambled on
He had blamed himself, his deep carnal desire to have her overrode his body, his every thought. He became the selfish creature he had always hated. 'We can't do this Arabella, forget about me' he said stubbornly. Her eyes took in his demeanour, he looked different. He had a dark shadow on his chin and his figure was more emasculated. Arabella couldn't help how her eyes rolled across his body.
'Don't look at me like that' he demanded curtly, but it didn't have the affect he wanted. Her need only heightened slightly. She walked towards him, grabbing his arms in her small hands. 'No Eros, I won't forget about you. I won't erase you from my memory. I like you Eros. You have set me on fire and you are the only one I want and need. I don't care about your stupid incubi rules' She shouted at him
'All I care about is you...' she said before pushing her lips into his. In that moment he forgot about duty, he forgot about every single word Anansa had told him. He only care about her, about them. Lusters were selfish beings, it was time for Eros to be selfish.
