Arabella was sat in her apartment, nursing a glass of white wine whilst she ate her dinner. She enjoyed the few moments of calm before her whirlwind of a friend came knocking at her door. The calm before the storm. Arabella took a loving sip of her white wine before finishing the glass and putting the bottle away, she deserved to have fun after all her hard work. Plus she hadn't seen her friends properly in weeks.
Standing she went towards the bathroom, shedding her clothes like a snake sheds its skin. Turning on the shower, she waited for the water to warm before she stepped inside. Arabella enjoyed tranquility, it was something she had been blessed with all her life and she nurtured it like a loving mother. The calm music filled the bathroom as she scrubbed her skin one last time before turning off the shower and stepping out.
Her skin sparkled with cleanliness as she dried it and started to lather herself in lotion. The scent of apples and cinnamon attaching itself to her supple skin. The calmness of her daily ritual was interrupted by the rude knocks at the door, which she knew was her hurricane of a friend Acacia. 'Coming!' She called out as her friends knocks became inpatient
Rushing towards the door, she opened it to see her friend in a red tracksuit and bendy rollers in her dark brown hair. 'Finally!' Acacia jumped up and down like a child, clapping her hands together slightly before stepping inside. 'Time to get this party started' she said devilishly before pulling out a bottle of rum in which they both grinned at sinisterly
They both started pampering themselves, brushing their faces with make up and combing their hair to perfection. Acacia's hair was in deep voluptuous curls, whilst her body was framed in a little black dress that left little to the imagination. Her lips were painted a wicked red 'well?' teased Acacia who was stood by the mirroring waiting for Arabella to speak. Meanwhile, Arabella was sat on the floor undressed, still doing her hair. 'You look gorgeous' she complimented rising and kissing her cheek kindly
'Love you Bellz but hurry up taxi should be here in 20 minutes and we still have half a bottle left!' complained her nuisance of a friend. Arabella chuckled to herself before standing up and grabbing her blood red latex dress off of her bed. It had been sat in her wardrobe collecting dust for months. Pulling off her robe, she started to pull it on to her body before getting Acacia to zip it up in the front.
Her blonde hair was sleeked in a tight high ponytail and her lips mirrored her friends bloody ones. Taking her black strappy heels, she pulled them on allowing her tanned legs to be framed femininely. 'Wow' Acacia breathed looking at her friend 'you look a-mazing' she emphasised before pulling her friend into a gentle hug.
Mixing their rum they made a sweet concoction and drank it until the taxi was pulling up outside. Hobbling out of the door they stuffed their bags with essentials before Arabella locked the door and shooted into the lift. The both of them were stuck in a fit of giggles as they descended to the lobby of the apartment building. Upon their arrival, chattering became dim and eyes started to stare at the two gorgeous girls who were dressed so sinfully.
'Hello Miss Sarris' greeted the doorman, Arabella turned to him kindly, shooting him a kind wide smile. 'Hello Mr Lawerence' she greeted politely before walking past, he shuffled after her quickly opening the door for her. A lovely gesture. 'Thank you, you didn't need to' she thanked him, smiling again. He was captured in her beauty in that moment, smiling to himself.
'A lady should never open her own door' he said before closing it and biding her a safe and good night. 'The doorman definitely has the hots for you' Acacia noted, wriggling her dark eyebrows at Arabella causing her to laugh sheepishly. 'He's just nice, thats all' she replied in denial, feeling the slight wave of rum hit her.
The both of them rode towards the night club, full of chatter and glee. As they finally arrived they spotted the line which was not too long to stand in. 'Thank God the line isn't too long!' Acacia smiled in excitement, happy they wouldn't have to stand in the cold. Paying the taxi driver, they got out of the car and assumed formation in the line. 'Ace, where are the guys?' Arabella asked completely forgetting that Matt, Kaz and Vincent were supposed to be meeting them.
'They are already inside by the bar, I got a text from Kaz' she announced, fishing for her ID in her black purse. They soon stood in front of security who was searching them with calculating eyes, before they even had the chance to pull out their ID's he let them pass. 'You ladies go straight through, no need to pay' he smirked allowing them to walk past
The two girls smiled brightly at the thought of free entry as they thanked him and walked in. The bright strobe lights and the pounding of music on their ear drums only made them more giddy as they near sprinted through the doors. 'Arabella!' called a distant voice above the rampant music. She instantly turned, seeing her three friends stood by the bar, grabbing Acacia's hand she stalked over to them quickly.
'Vince! Kaz! Matt!' She greeted hugging them all in one go. She hadn't seen them in weeks as she had swamped herself in her research. 'You look great' said Kaz, flashing his white teeth at her. His black hair was sleeked back and his dark grey eyes sparkled with joy as he swept his eyes over Arabella's body, appreciating how well she looked. He wore a fitted black shirt with black jeans, his tattoos showing on his tanned hands.
'Bellz you have been totally ghost!' Reprimanded Vince as he pulled her in for another hug. His curly brown Afro was gorgeous and soft, his brown eyes were sharp and inviting. It made sense as to why he was such a playboy. Arabella let out a nervous laugh as she apologised for her recent absence before turning towards Matt. Matt was slightly more reserved but he still knew how to have a good time. Their friendship group was a strange mix but it worked perfectly, sticking together like a strong adhesive.
'Hi Matt, I've missed you' said Arabella as she hugged him tightly. His pale cheeks rose with a slight blush at the contact, 'I have missed you as well, Bella' he rubbed her back kindly before pulling away and smiling at her. 'Right! now lets get the night started!' Shouted Acacia as she passed everyone a shot and a drink before they all walked over to the dance floor. The hypnotic beats making their feet move in sync to the music as they laughed and danced the night away.

'You guys stay here ! I am going to the toilet!' She shouted over the loud music, getting a few nods she started to saunter away, needing a break from the dark room. As she walked away, a hand came so suddenly, grabbing hers tightly causing her to stumble into a man she had never seen before. 'Why have I never seen you before?' He purred as he held her tightly, their chests connected.Arabella's cheeks started to blush furiously at how close she was to this man, she had never seen him before yet he had pulled her so incredibly close to himself. She started to pull away but his grip tightened on her wrist which was behind her back. 'Where are you going love? We haven't even gotten to know each other yet' he reprimanded, his tight grip reminding her of who was in charge.
'Sorry for bumping into you but I'm bursting for the toilet so if you could ju-' Arabella started but the man would not let up, his lips were faintly brushing hers now in a lustrous way which made her heart shudder in fear. His eyes were black with control and it irked her. 'P-Please' she whimpered again but he simply ignored her, grinning a wicked smile.
'She said let go of her' commanded a daunting voice. The sound of it made her legs tremble weakly and her stomach flutter with butterflies. The blonde mans grip instantly loosened allowing her to step back with haste, her chest heaving in fear. Yet when she turned to see the handsome stranger she was met with the same forest green eyes that had been haunting her dreams.
The same moss eyes that were burned in her memory since class. It was him.
