Here I am first day back about to enter his classroom. I walk in and everyone else goes to their seats whilst I go up to him to ask where I sit.

I wait in line until it's my turn.

"Name?"

"Hayley." I whisper, nervous of his presence.

"What? That's your warning say it louder." He states.

Ouch okay, maybe not such a great start. I eventually find my seat and go sit down at the front whilst he teaches the lesson.

For a while after that each lesson was the same, sit down, listen, sometimes get picked to answer a question, start panicking, whisper the answer, and so on.

If only it was that simple though, all I could think about every lesson was him. His presence, his existence, his being.

I found out that he was doing the girls football club and was willing to do anything to get his attention so why not, it can't be THAT bad.

The football club wasn't that bad, we would do drills for most of the time and sometimes have small matches at the end. The club really allowed me to become closer with him, and much more comfortable. He also finally learned my name so that was a bonus.

Over time we started joking around much more and he moved my seat in geography which really improved my grades and participation in class.
