~Four days later~

Klaus picks up the small glass that's sat in front of him and throws it back, the bitter taste burning the walls of his throat. "I think you've had enough, sir." The bartender says, giving him a look of concern.

The glass slams into the counter and he points a finger out, not letting go of the glass. "I think I'll tell you when I've had enough, another round." His speech is slurred and his mannerisms are messy.

Reluctantly, she takes a step back and fills a few more to set down in front of him. "I can't think of a time when I've seen you looking more pathetic, Niklaus."

"If I wanted your opinion, I'd have come asking for it." He responds blankly, picking up one of the glasses and lifts it to his lips. "What do you want, Rebekah?"

"I want to know where you've been the last four day, what have you been doing?" She asks as she takes the seat beside him.

His eyes lock with a brunette across the bar, causing him to smirk. "It's not 'what' I've been doing, it's more of a 'who', if I have to share every last detail of my life with you." He says sarcastically before tapping the bar, "send a few shots to the woman across the way would you?"

"Don't." Rebekah points toward the bartender and stands to her feet. "Thank you, for dealing with him and keeping him from being more of a moron than he usually is."

He doesn't question when she grabs him by the arm, his legs buckling under the pressure of standing. "You've got to be joking me right now." She mutters under her breath and leads him outside to drop him on the pavement.

He catches himself on the curb and sits down to look up at her, "what's the meaning of this?" He asks, his head weaving back and forth. "You've ruined my entire night, make it worth while."

Rebekah shakes her head, a deep sigh leaves her lips. "As a matter of fact, we need your help with something."

"We?" He gives her a confused look, "who is we?"

"Me," Deanna says quietly, walking into view. "I need your help. I went looking for you, but-"

"Shut up. Right now, don't say another word to me." Klaus slurs and stands to his feet. "Who do you think you are to say all those things about me, and then come and ask for my help?" He laughs bitterly, "fuck you, Deanna. Figure it out on your own."

"Just hear her out, Nik, this is something you might actually want to hear." Rebekah says calmly, keeping the two tame.

Klaus stares at Deanna expectantly, "well? What is it? I've got brothels to crawl all night long, so get on with it." His words are bitter and she takes a step away from him.

"It's Samantha," Deanna says after a short pause. Both sets of eyes lock on him while they read his expression. "I had found out that our father was in town and when I went to warn her, she was already gone. I have many reasons to believe that he's taken her."

The feeling in the pit of his stomach rises, but his expression stays the same. He looks between both woman and closes his eyes, every word of Samantha's rejection clinging to him.

He opens his eyes and looks at Deanna, "fuck you, and fuck your sister." Klaus looks away from her and down the street. Her voice bringing him back in.
