"Tayo nalang kaya?" Nagtaas ako ng tingin sa gagong nakaupo sa harap ng office table ko.

I stared at him blankly, "Suck your own dick, moron." Ano na namang pumasok sa utak ng baliw na 'to?

Napahawak siya sa kaniyang dibdib na parang nasaktan, "Wow naman, madame Hidalgo. Parang hindi tayo magkaibigan, ah?"

I took off my glasses and put down my pen before shifting all of my attention to him, "Well, mister Costellacion, kung sinunod mo lang ang mga magulang mo at nagpakasal, wala na sanang nambubwisit sa'kin ngayon."

"Hey! Low blow." He exclaimed, "My siblings get to marry the ones they love and I get stuck in an arranged marriage?"

"Arranged marriage rin naman 'yung kay Orion, ah?" Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay, "And they ended up being so in love, you can hardly take them away from each other." We would know. Orion Costellacion professing his love on one of the billboards on their properties was the talk of the town.

He gave me an are-you-serious-look, "Who wouldn't fall for kuya?"

I pointed at myself, "Me?"

He scoffed, "Kapal nito."

"Eh totoo naman, eh! At tsaka ano naman kung si Orion 'yun? You're a Costellacion too."

He let out a loud sigh, "Gusto ko nga lang magpakasal sa taong mahal ko."

Napatayo ako at binatukan siya, "Edi lumabas ka. Paano mo mahahanap ang taong mamahalin mo kung nandito ka't nagmumukmok sa office ko?"

"Nandito ka naman."

"Yuck! Kadiri ka!" The bastard freaking laughed at me so hard he almost fell over his chair.

Draco Costellacion is the youngest brother of the Costellacions. We met at Harvard and became blockmates because I had to defer a year—so bale naging magka-batch kami. He knew me for being the girl who dumped his brother, Leo, kaya palagi na siyang nakasunod sa akin sa campus habang nag-aaral pa kami.

I don't know how our friendship started. Can I even call this idiot my friend?

Hindi niya ako tinantanan dahil nga interesado daw siya sa bumasted sa kuya niya, that's when we started talking and the next thing I knew, he was already barging in my unit without my permission.

He's a good guy. He's great company and really easy to get along with. Even though he's a big knucklehead, the guy's a pretty good catch.

I know he's not insecure about his brothers kahit na nahanap na ng mga ito ang kanilang mga mahal sa buhay. Ang kapal ng mukha nito, eh, gwapong-gwapo sa sarili. That's why I know he doesn't have troubles finding a partner. And I can't deny that, because the Costellacion genes are elite. 

You can clearly tell with their features that they're from Spanish descent. With Draco, you can see with his brown eyes which shine when hit with sunlight, his natural red plump lips that would mock Brad Pitt's which topped 1, a perfectly structured nose and jaw, I understand why he's choosy when it come to the person he wants to marry.

"Bakit kasi ayaw mo nalang sabihin sa kanila?" I asked when he calmed down.

Binigyan niya ako ng maliit na ngiti, "Mama and Papa are very traditional, I don't think they would accept it so easily."

I understand his fear, though. Fear of rejection.

Mahal na mahal ni Draco ang pamilya niya at ayaw niya itong maging disappointed sa kaniya. Dahil nga siya ang bunsong lalaki, hindi masyadong mabigat ang responsibilidad niya kagaya ng mga kuya niyang si Orion at Leo.
