Walking towards the school building is the bane of my existence. Good thing I saw Maddie's hangover look by the gate while waiting for me. I tried hard not to smile but I think I'm having spasms on my cheeks. Maddie looks so mad, it suits her.
"Don't freaking laugh at me." she threatened me.
"I'm not laughing."
Well, technically, hindi naman talaga ako tumatawa. Mahirap lang i-maintain ang straight face.
"Ang haggard ko! Pareho lang tayong uminom pero bakit ang fresh mo!" pagmamaktol niya.
Hinayaan ko na lang siyang magreklamo. Kasalanan niya rin naman kasi tanggap siya nang tanggap ng shot kung kani-kanino.
"Mamaya, lunch tayo sa labas ha. May bagong kainan dun e." aya niya pa habang papasok sa kanya-kanya naming classroom.
"Okay, see you!" I agreed na lang kahit maaga pa, nagiisip na siya ng lunch.

Maddie was so excited to order food since first meal of the day niya. I got excited too since mukhang masarap naman and I am really hungry kanina pa.
We were having lunch when I received a message. I heaved a sigh. I think Maddie noticed my mood change.
"Oh, bakit?" Maddie asked.
"Wala lang," I replied. "Pagod lang ako."
She stared at me for a while, probably analyzing if I am saying the truth.
"Okay," she said and continue eating.
I know she doesn't believe me. She knows that something is wrong but she did not dare push it. In times like this, I'm thankful that she is my friend. I love how understanding she is. Thank you, Mads. Always.

"Fuck my life."
I laughed out loud. Louder than I normally would. It seems like I can't control myself these days when I'm having fun.
"Yeah, fuck me too," Adriel said. I can't really call him a friend but we have this mutual understanding that we're comfortable with each other so I just let him do whatever he want. He lets me do whatever I want too.
"Here you go," I showed him my middle finger. Adriel held his stomach while laughing. I am smiling from ear to ear too. Too intoxicated. Probably because of the m0lly.
Adriel puts his arms around my shoulder, circling his thumb. I closed my eyes as I felt comfortable. I hugged him while we're sitting on the couch in our secret pub where we met years ago. It was a bar before but it is now an empty property. Pablo, the ex-owner, gave us the keys.
"I love ducks." he randomly said.
I laughed, Adi and his randomness really. He is my happy pill, aside from Maddie and m0lly of course.
"You love everything." I said as a matter of fact. Itinigil niya ang ginagawa niya sa aking balikat at niyakap niya ulit ako sa aking bewang.
"Okay, so that means I love you too," he randomly said, again.
I felt the abnormal beating of my heart. Maybe because of the molly, nasobrahan yata ako.
"Sira." I said as I punch him on his arm.
"Won't you say you love me too? Come on."
He laughed again. He thinks it's fun to tease me. Ganito siya palagi pag may session kami. Hinayaan ko na lang since I am having fun at the moment too. Kahit panandalian lang. Kahit alam kong mali.
