All day's work came around
For a smile and happiness of their love to come abound
Blood, sweat, and tears she had shed
For a bright future for her kids to be ledWhat she knows not, that this morn, a plan was made
With a smile, a farewell her kids, they bade
Full of determination, Off to work she goes
What the future holds, no one knowsCome now, the eldest said
There's a lot to do, wake up the youngest who sleep like dead
A simple surprise that we can do,
Hope she loves it, just like we doA card from the youngest was penned
"How do you have that energy Mom?
To be a teacher, a cook, and a friend?
Yet have the energy for us, That I can't comprehend"A message from the middle was also penned
"Roses have thorns to protect them be,
Swans have mates for a lifetime, can you see
A mother whom I deeply love,
Is the most precious treasure I have"Time flew by and hours had passed
The plan was come into fruition,
They hope she can be surprisedNow the time hath come, when they had heard,
Andito na ako, may uwi ako para sa inyo!
Dread came when her calls were unanswered
San kayo mga anak? Bunso? She opened their bedroom door and tried to see
For all was naught and only darkness was seen
A pause in her stride she did
For when she opened the light
A smile bloomed on her face for what they didHappy Mother's Day! They screamed
Confetti and papers were released.
A banner, a cake, and a gift they hold
Happy Mother's Day Ma, they toldLove, Happiness, and Safety is what you gave
Thank you for all the unforgettable memories we had made
We treasure those moments, Held deep in our hearts,
Never letting go, even from the startTime is fleeting and years can go
As time with you is always fast, and never slow
For you are the treasure we hath found
And will never let go, no matter what comes abound. So mother, remember this
Your health and longetivity is what we wish
For today is your day
Again, Happy Mother's Day!An angel the Above had gave
A woman so strong and brave
A woman that went through thick and thin
A fire she possesses can be seen withinA long patience you had
An understanding that we never had,
A power that radiates from within
But a mother is all it can be seenAnd alas the spaces are nearing gone
And as I count to one
I want you to remember,
We love you more than ever.Three, Two, One,
I wish you all the happiness, longetivity and fun
To last you, until all is done
