Colby's pov
I had just gotten out of the shower when I heard knocking, I turned off the water and grabbed my towel and went to the door. When I opened the door I was confused to see a very pissed-off Jake.
Colby: uh hey is something wrong
Jake: what the hell do you think you're doing with y/n
Colby: What are you talking about we're just friends
Jake: yeah right I know you like her Colby stop lying
Colby: Jake I'm not lying and even if I did like her she doesn't like me back she's in love with someone else
Jake: *rolls his eyes* no she's in the love with you I see the way you both look at each other
Colby: JAKE GET THIS THROUGH YOUR HEAD ME AND HER ARE JUST FRIENDS AND WE WILL ALWAYS BE JUST FRIENDS WHAT PART DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND
Jake: ITS FUCKING OBVIOUS YOU BOTH LOVE EACH OTHER COLBY
He then punched me in the face, I groaned in pain.
Colby: what the actual fuck Jake
Jake: stay away from her and maybe next time this won't fucking happen *walks away*
I was shocked by what just happened I stood there dumbfounded when Sam came up to me.
Sam: bro what happened
Colby: I-I don't know
Sam: weird
Colby: *nods* I'm uh gonna clean up my nose and lip
Sam: alright tell me if you need something
Colby: I will
I said as I closed the door and went to the bathroom to clean up my nose and lip then got dressed.
~skip a few days~
Still Colby's pov
It's been a few days since I and Jake got into that fight, we haven't spoken to each other since. I was in the kitchen getting a snack when I got a text from y/n saying she'll be over soon. I smiled and ran upstairs to my room and to get ready, when I heard a knock on the door.
Jake's pov
I was in the game room when I heard a knock on the door. I got up and went to the door, I opened it to see y/n.
Jake: hey are you here to see me
Y/n: um no I'm here to hang out with Colby
Her saying that immediately pissed me off I told him to stay away from her.
Jake: oh Colby isn't here he just left
Y/n: oh I thought he was here um I'll just leave
Jake: no no stay I wanna talk to you about something *smiles*
Y/n: um ok
I let her inside I closed the door and ran up to Colby's room and walked in.
Jake: I told you to stay the fuck away from her cole
Colby: Jake I don't need to listen to you she's my best friend
Jake: stay up here and out of my fucking way do you understand
Colby: no and I know y/n is here now get out of my way
I pushed him into his closet and made sure he couldn't open it and ran downstairs to y/n.
Jake: hey sorry I had to tell Corey something
Y/n: um it's ok don't worry about it
I smiled and sat down.
Jake: so what were you and Colby gonna do
Y/n: we were gonna probably go to the mall
Jake: *nods* well we could watch a movie
Y/n: um I guess do you know when Colby will be back
Jake: who cares about him
I turned on a movie and moved closer to her and wrapped my arm around her.
Nobody's pov
Colby was banging on the closet door and trying to get out, he couldn't believe Jake would do this all because he hanging out with y/n, he was pissed and wanted to kill him.
Colby: SAM COREY HELP
He yelled, Colby waited to see if anyone would go to his room to let him out but no one came meanwhile, Jake and y/n were downstairs watching a movie. When y/n heard Colby yell and bang on the door she started to get up when Jake grabbed her hand.
Jake: where are you going
Y/n: I heard Colby yell I know he's here
Jake: no only Corey's here you must be hearing things
Y/n: *sighs and nods* your probably right *sits back down*
While Jake tried to distract her, Sam ran to Colby's room after hearing him yell for help.
Sam: Colby are you in here
Colby: SAM CLOSET
Sam ran over to the closet and moved what was blocking it Colby ran out.
Sam: who the fuck put you in your closet and blocked it
Colby: Jake he like went crazy and told me to stay away from y/n
As Colby explained everything to Sam, Jake was still trying to distract y/n from everything that was going on up above them. When Colby and Sam came running down the stairs to them.
Y/n's pov
I kept hearing yelling and other noises upstairs it sounded like Colby and Sam, but Jake kept talking about random things it was like he was trying to keep me downstairs. I started to get annoyed when I saw Sam and Colby running down the stairs.
Colby: y/n I'm so sorry
Y/n: what is going on here
Jake: I can explain
Colby: don't trust him he's the one who locked me in my closet
Y/n: wait what
Jake: he's lying
Sam: no he's not look Jake told him to stay away from you and if he talked to you or anything he was gonna do something and then when you came over Jake had gone to Colby's room and locked him in his closet
Y/n: what the actual fuck Jake
Jake: HE WAS TRYING TO STEAL YOU FROM ME
Colby: THAT DOESN'T FUCKING MEAN LOCK ME IN A GOD DAMN CLOSET
Y/n: what the hell do you mean "trying to steal me from you" your dating tara
Jake then pushed Colby away from us I couldn't believe what I was seeing
Jake: I told you to stay away from her
Colby: she's my best friend Jake you can't tell me what to do if I wanna hang out with her I can *punches him*
At first, it was just a few punches and hits but then it turned into a full-blown fight. I watched as sam tried to break up the fight but it wasn't working.
Y/n: GUYS STOP
I tried to push them away from each other until one of them punched me in the face, I whimpered in pain and moved away from them.
Colby: oh my god y/n we are so sorry
Jake: shit I'm sorry
Sam: are you ok
I looked at them and shook my head then grabbed my stuff as I walked toward the door.
Y/n: I don't wanna talk to any of you right now
Colby: y/n/n please don't leave
Y/n: leave me alone
I walked out and called asher to come to pick me up.
Colby's pov
I couldn't believe we just hurt her.
Jake: what just happened
Sam: you both fucked up your friendships with her
Colby: we're idiots
Jake nodded and sighed
Sam: what are we gonna do she probably won't speak to us now because of this
Jake: maybe we should give her a couple of days to cool down
I sighed and nodded.
~skip two weeks later~
Sam's pov
It's been over two weeks since the fight happened y/n still hasn't talked to any of us not even Kat. We're really worried about her, I decided to text Devyn to ask her to go over to y/n's house to see if she was ok. After I texted her I went to Colby's room and told him that Devyn was gonna see her. He was a mess since it occurred, both Jake and Colby were messes I felt bad about everything.
Sam: hey how are you doing
Colby: I miss her Sam I wish she would just talk to me
Sam: I know but it'll be ok
Colby: how do you know I probably messed up everything I didn't mean to hit her
Sam: we don't even know who hit her it just happened to look when we talk to her well try and figure out who did it ok
He nodded, I smiled and left his room and went to Jake's room to tell him the same thing.
Devyn's pov
I told Sam I would go over to y/n's house I made cookies knowing she'll talk if I had food with me. I went over to her house and knocked after a few seconds, Asher opened the door I smiled and looked at him.
Devyn: hey ash is y/n home
Asher: I don't think now is a good time
Devyn: *sighs*, please they're all worried about her
Asher: alright fine come in
Devyn: thank you so much *walks in*
Asher: do you know what happened
Devyn: no but I'll try and figure it out
I smiled and went upstairs to y/n's room and knocked, I heard a quiet "come in" from inside I slowly opened the door and went inside
Devyn: hey y/n/n
Y/n: go away Devyn
Deyn: the guys are worried about you they wanna see you
Y/n: I don't care
Devyn: please just come over they wanna talk to you they feel really bad about what happened
Y/n: ok fine *sighs*
I smiled and grabbed her hand and ran downstairs
Asher: where are you two going
Devyn: we're going to the guy's house to talk to them about what happened
Asher: I'm coming with you
Devyn: no your not
Asher: yes I am
He grabbed his keys and put on his shoes and walked out of the house, I sighed and followed.  Y/n went with asher while I drove by myself, once we got there we got out and went inside.
Jakes pov
I heard the door open I looked at Sam and Colby. We all got up and went to the door to see Devyn Asher and y/n, I was wondering what asher was doing here.
Sam: uh hey ash what are you doing here
Asher: I'm here to make sure y/n doesn't get hurt again
Colby: we didn't mean to hurt her ok
Devyn: guys let's just sit down and talk it out
We all nodded and went to the living room and sat down. We spent over an hour talking about everything that happen, after we talked it out we decided to order food and watch a movie it was nice having y/n back. We were in the middle of the movie when there was a knock on the door, I got up and opened it to see tara.
Tara: hey babe
Jake: uh hey
Tara: can I come in
Jake: yeah sure
I let her in and closed the door she went to the living room I saw asher and y/n looking at her I saw tara looking him up and down
Tara: hey I'm tara
Asher: asher
We sat down and continued to watch the movie I saw tara move closer to him and watched as she put her hand on his thigh
Jake: tara can we talk in the kitchen
Tara: um yeah
We got up and went to the kitchen I looked at her
Jake: what the fuck are you doing
Tara: What are you talking about
Jake: you know what I'm talking about I saw you put your hand on his thigh
Tara: so what
Nobody's pov
As jake and tara fought in the kitchen y/n was standing right outside listening to everything
Jake: look I can't do this anymore I'm sorry
Tara: w-what are you saying
Jake: we're done tara please leave
Tara: fine whatever
She then left I walked out of the kitchen to see y/n. She looked at me and hugged me tightly, I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her head.
Y/n: I'm sorry jake
Jake: it's not your fault y/n/n
Y/n: *looks up at him* I should've told you this sooner but I was terrified that you would reject me or something but I've liked you ever since we met and I'm sorry for not telling you sooner
Jake: you know the only reason I dated her was to try and get over my feelings for you I thought you liked asher and I couldn't live with it so I started dating her
Y/n: r-really
I nodded and kissed her she kissed back after seconds, I pulled away and smiled.
Jake: would you like to go on a date
She smiled big and nodded
~skip a few more weeks~
Y/n's pov
It's been a few weeks since jake and tara broke up we went on our date yesterday, where he asked me to be his girlfriend I said yes. I couldn't be happier it felt like everything was finally ok.
