So this story I started working on in 7th grade and now that I'm in 11th grade I have finally made an ending for it. I might make a part two to see what happens to one of the characters, but I don't know right now. I hope you enjoy this story.

Lil is a 19-year-old girl, with long red-ish hair with a teal strip. She has always been a strange little girl as she has grown up. Lil struggles to make friends, and finding a good boyfriend is also difficult for her. When she thought she had found the perfect partner, she was wrong. Vin was the worst person she could have dated. She felt extremely controlled by him. Lil was able to move away from Vin. She bought an old house in a small town in the country. There's a lot of talk in town that the place is haunted, but Lil doesn't mind if it's hunted. Her main reason for leaving Vin is to escape him. While Lil was moving her belongings into the house, she encountered a ghost. A ghost told me her name was V and that she had lived in the house for a long time.
With the passage of time, V and Lil became closer as friends. In both cases, they helped lost souls find their way to the other side, and Lil tried her best to help. Lil started to wonder why V stayed in this world when she could leave. Lil eventually asked V. V answered that she was bound to this house and land, so even if she wanted to leave, she couldn't. She explained to Lil that she believe she was murdered, but everything happened so fast that she wasn't able to comprehend what happened. Then V decided to share with Lil what she remembers of that night when everything turned pitch black. "The incident happened on the day my boyfriend, Fred, took me out on my 20th birthday. We had a picnic in the park and then he took me to the library so I could pick out a few books. I began noticing that he would occasionally disappear as the day progressed. If I asked him where he went, he would simply tell me it was a surprise. Fred was a kind man, but he hung out with a new group of 'friends' and was doing some sketchy things, so I was worried about what the surprise was. Fred wanted to take me to where the surprise for me was when the day turned to night. I walked with him to the house and he brought me to the backyard where a bonfire was burning. The two of us walked over to the fire pit, Fred following right behind me. I looked around and saw other people, but I couldn't see their faces. When I was about to say something, a sharp object pierced my back. There was so much that happened so quickly that I couldn't fully process what had just taken place. The only thing I remember is feeling a sharp object in my back and then the warmth of the fire." After V told Lil about her past, they sat in silence for a moment before Lil hugged her. In the days that followed, Lil was doing some housework and V was reading a book to figure out why she could see and touch ghosts. Then V stumbled upon a search that reads..."Only humans who have died once and still live, or one of the twins in utero, die, can see ghosts. Humans that have the ability to see ghosts will have a normal eye, but they will also have a ghost eye. Human eyes have pupils, whereas ghost eyes have none." After V finished reading that part of the information. She started to wonder about Lil and her background. As V thought about all the questions she wanted to ask Lil, her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of Lil's phone ringing. Lil quickly picked up the phone and answered it. Her phone was screaming so loudly that Lil had to hold the phone away from her ear. Lil's ex-boyfriend Vin was the one yelling on the other end of the phone. V didn't like that Vin was yelling at Lil for no reason. It took Lil some time to calm him down so her ear didn't hurt. Lil thought she was OK since she hung up very quickly after he said he would track the call, but she was wrong. Vin had been tracking the call since it began, so he had enough time to find the town she lived in. Vin asked Lil "Why was my main phone number blocked? Where are you? Why can't I track your location from my phone? You better tell me where you're at or I will have to track this call!" Lil wasn't sure what to do so she hung up without saying anything. Lil looked a little worried after the phone call, so V asked her if everything was ok. Lil told her that she was ok and wanted to get off the topic. So V brought up her question. " Did you have a twin or did you ever half die before?" Lil just stood there quietly before answering."I was the only one born despite my mother saying they were expecting twins." Lil could see ghosts the day she opened her eyes as a young child. "Did you ever ask your parents what happened to your twin?" V asked, wanting to learn more. "She told me that both babies were very healthy and then one day she started feeling a lot of pain in her stomach, so she went to the hospital. She spent a few days in the hospital where she underwent a C-section and hoped both babies were fine." Lil said as she sat on a coach nearby. V put the information together in her head and then told Lil "I think you can see and feel ghosts because your twin's soul merged with yours." It took Lil a moment to fully comprehend V's explanation, but she got what she meant. After a few days, Lil and V are looking at books together, trying to understand Lil and what she can do, but a knock on the door interrupts their efforts. Eventually, Lil rose and went to the front door to see an older man at the door. He stood 6ft tall and had short, dark brown hair that was messy. He stared at Lil for a little bit before saying "how much?" which immediately confused lil and replied with "what?" "The house, how much money?" he told her. "This house is not for sale and I just moved into this house two and a half months ago, so yeah," Lil told the man and started to shut the door, but the man stopped her from fully shutting the door. "I won't take no for an answer, I need this house now." He said in a strident tone. Again lil just tried to close the door. During this time, V walked behind Lil to see who was at the door. Her ex, Fred, was at the door; she felt angry when she saw him. V moved away from the door to get Fred out of her sight. Lil threatened to call the police if he did not leave now. He left as soon as Lil threatened. Lil and V thought they were finally enjoying a peaceful life as the months went on, but they were mistaken, as another problem arose. Over the past year and a half, Lil and V have grown very close, almost to the point where they started dating. Lil had forgotten all about Vin and what he was trying to accomplish. While Lil was working on the garden on the side of the house, someone slowly approached her from behind. Several Lilly flowers were dangled in front of her face by someone leaning over. "It took me a long time to find you, love." Her eyes widened as she recognized the voice. "How did you find me, Vin?" Lil said stuttering and trying to get up to head inside. " Love, where are you headed? "I just got here, and I'm looking forward to reconnecting," Vin said as he grabbed Lil's wrist to keep her from leaving. As quickly as she could, she stepped on Vin's foot and ran inside. V noticed that Lil ran into the house and slammed the door shut. When she went over to see what was happening, she heard Vin's voice. "Get back here now my Lilly!!!" Vin growled and pouted at the door. Lil was panicking and had no idea what to do. V went over to Lil and hugged her, thinking of something she could try to do. Eventually, Vin broke down the door and entered. Then, Lil began looking for her cell phone so she could call 911. She tried her best to keep him away, but it was hard since she is a ghost. When Lil found her phone, Vin grabbed her arms and pin her to the wall just as she was about to dial 911. "Ah, you should know better than to call the police my love." Vin was holding her wrist very tightly. Her struggling to try and get out of his grip caused her wrist to start to bruise from how tightly she was holding onto her. She started to kick at him to get him away or let her go but it didn't work. V grabbed a cane and hit Vin on the back. Which made Vin lose his focus on Lil and look behind him. All he saw was a floating cane. This gave Lil enough time to call 911 and tell them what was happening. As she was about to tell the police her address, Vin grabbed the phone and throw it across the room. Lil kept struggling to get out of Vin's grab. The cops tracked Lil's phone and got there and got Vin away from Lil and put him in cuffs. One police officer went to Lil to see if she was ok and asked if she wanted a restraining order on him, of course, Lil said to the restraining order on Vin. The medics gave Lil some medicine ornament for the buries she got from Vin. Then asked some more questions to Lil and asked if she was blind in one eye because of Vin. Lil said she isn't blind, she was born with a special eye. After a few hours, the police left with Vin and Lil went inside to finally get some peace and quick. V went over to Lil when she was inside and hug her. V sighed and kept Lil close. She doesn't want to lose her. Lil just hug her close happy that Vin was finally behind bars. After the instead with Vin, Lil and V finally did get some peace and quiet. Which they were very happy about. But V still couldn't get one question out of her head. Why did Fred what to buy the house and why did he right away when Lil said she was going to call the police if he didn't leave. V shook the thought away and hung out with Lil. They want to start a family but they can't so they decide on fur babies. They got two puppies and two kittens and well Lil spoils them all so much. V and Lil got a happy ending that they are pleased with.
