Izuku didnt want to go on this date. It wasn't because of Emi, He loves her with his entire heart, But why, oh why did ochaco come up with this idea, and why did Emi have to insist on this. Izuku has done stuff as a hero, He has fought villains. He has saved people. He has faced evil with a smile and won. But right now, Izuku was scared to death. He was in his bed, head hung low questioning if he should just call in sick. people said he was well on his way to becoming more confident.

But his date was going to a comedy club and doing stand-up, Now Emi was funny, she knew jokes and was able to make everyone laugh even without her quirk, But Izuku wasn't able to. He just wasn't able to make them laugh, He sucked at jokes. But he would fight gods for his, girlfriends, so doing a half-hour of stand-up should be possible, at least he should really be able to. But he had jokes. some thought off, Some looked up, But then he heard the knock and the giggle.'' Come on jokester, let's go.'' Emi yelled thru the door with Izuku swallowing deeply 

He got up and moved to Emi.'' So you are ready for your big day on stage. '' No, I am not.'' Izuku was honest but Emi hugged his arm.'' Come on, Just focus on getting me to laugh. Right, Only I matter.'' Izuku nodded softly as they walked toward the car. He didnt look very happy, But that was because his nerves were running rapid, what he didnt know was that Emi had set up a little surprise for him, She had called a couple of friends from them to sit in the area to join in the fun.

The drive took 20 minutes, The sun was already slightly setting, with as they walked into the building Izuku saw it. Multiple of his friends sitting in the room, already waiting for him. Each with a smirk. Which helped Izuku, He felt way better about telling his shitty jokes around them, than he did telling them to strangers. So with a smile, he took Emi to her seat right in front of the podium and took a stand at the top. Looking over. All Might had rented the entire building which he didn't know. 

His family sitting in the back all waiting for his jokes to show up. Izuku looked up at everyone, The bright lights being something to get used to, But he started making shitty jokes'' Uhm, why did the frog girl become a lawyer.'' It was silent for a little bit. Because she wanted to Tsuyu(sue you)'' Emi of course laughed loudly with mostly everyone just groaning at the joke.''Uhm what do you call a villain that hates cows.'' Nomoo.'' Izuku again got a laugh from Emi and some sad chuckles from the rest with groans

Emi was really enjoying the jokes Izuku was telling and already had tears in her eyes from laughing.'' Why was I really tired after the exam.'' I pulled an All Mighter.'' Emi nearly fell from her seat as Izuku heard a loud.'' Oh for fuck sakes.'' From Bakugo in the back. But Izuku was starting to enjoy his time aswell.'' How many brothers does Present Mic have? Two, pass and future mic.'' now along with Emi, Present Mic was laughing loudly aswell, Holding their stomachs while laughing so hard at the bad jokes. But Izuku was focused on Emi who had a big smile on her face.

'' Why does Mina use guy shampoo.'' Silence.'' She likes the smell, But her skin gets Ashi tho (ashido) again laughs were heard from Emi but mostly it was groans. '' Why is Tenko great at helping people move, He is really handy.''  the same reactions as normal were there, But as Izuku went on, He was quickly booed off stage which he happily took as he joined Emi at the table as someone else took the stage, Izuku, however, didnt really hear any jokes, He really was just focused on how absolutely beautiful Emi looked as she was laughing at the jokes

They sat thru the horrible jokes of Sero and Kaminari. They were better than Izuku at telling jokes, But again they would never get a real award for it. But Izuku was unsure what to do next. With Emi knowing just what to do. going to the car, and driving Izuku right to the beach, where they would just spend time, Throwing a ball at each other while talking, Laughing at each other as Emi started making jokes. It felt special, their feet in the sand, The soft waves crashing to the ground as a noise.
