Comfort

While Stella developed an infection during her stay in the hospital, Bryan tried to comfort her in a way Stella once did. They attempted to date 6 feet apart. They were curious and really wanted to try it out. It was going well at some point. Stella invited Harry; her friend in the hospital, some of her friends and Bryan's friends for a secret surprise 18th birthday party for Bryan at the hospital. They had to beg the workers at the hospital for the event to hold. Fortunately they agreed. When Bryan turns 18, he was going to give up on his treatment because he was tired of his life and how none of the treatments were helping him in any way. He was ready for death, wasn't afraid but Stella refused and was going to help him. They enjoyed themselves, turning up the volume, drinking, dancing past the expected time they were given. They forgot and continued partying until their nurses, Barb, Luna, Rose and some others, caught them, shut them down and escorted each of them to their various rooms.
Later on, some months past by, when Harry died, leaving Stella to grieve for the loss of another person close to her. She felt like she needed to die herself, to escape all this pain she was feeling and then anyone also close to her will not die or lose someone precious to them. Stella would wake up in the morning with headache after the loss of Harry. Harry had just left her. She was at least happy she could spend the last hour he had with him. Bryan hated the way Stella was in her current state. He hated the look on her face in the morning, how she still sobbed in the night. Bryan took Stella and they escaped together from the hospital to go on a date night. Stella didn't want to go but Bryan insisted and didn't take no for an answer. They went to the garden just behind the hospital, but over a fence. Bryan and Stella had to climb over the fence to get there. The garden was little but beautiful at the same time. It was peaceful and was were Bryan would go to when he wanted to escape from the hospital just to think and rest. Stella suddenly had a slight smile on her face when they arrived, but later faded when she remembered Harry again. Bryan tried as much as he could to comfort her. Bryan's effort of trying to comfort Stella worked. She suddenly forgot about Harry's death and started to have a chat with Bryan. They laughed, dance to a little song that was playing from Bryan's phone and ate some snacks Bryan brought. It wasn't one of the perfect date night as others would have, but it was enough and good for Bryan cause he got to make Stella happy, hear her giggle and see her glowing perfect smile on her face
