Stella received a message saying "New lungs have arrived". She  informed Bryan about the message but didn't respond to the message because all she wanted was nothing more than spending the remaining night with Bryan. They couldn't hug or hold hands due to the disease which was extremely dangerous for CF patients to touch or come in close contact with each other, but she still wanted to be with him. That same night, Bryan and Stella were chatting, laughing, kind of having fun, taking a walk through the garden until when Stella fell through ice on a frozen pond, while Bryan was forced to give her CPR. But he was afraid she wouldn't be able to accept her lungs because he had poisoned her with B.capecia. The doctors followed through with the lung surgery, but Bryan realized he had to get away from Stella so she would have a chance to live a healthy life. As much as it hurts him, he broke up with her in a grand romantic gesture as possible; The moment she woke up from the lung transplant, with her family and doctors around her, while she was in a ventilator and couldn't speak or move if she wanted to. This hurt Stella so badly, that she couldn't respond to what Bryan had just done. Bryan packed up, called his dad to transfer him to another hospital and he left the hospital without another word knowing what he did was right and had to be done anyways. Because their love wasn't bringing anything more than happiness but sadness instead. " What is the point of being together, when it just causes trouble, pain and sadness" he asked himself sobbing quietly. He always had so many things in his mind that he couldn't handle and he wasn't the type to talk to people about it all the time. Growing up, his parents were and are still the busy kind of parents. They barely come back home in time for dinner so the chef cooks the food instead or they couldn't be around for family dinner or hangout with Bryan and his siblings because they were either busy or had an important business trip and meeting they needed to attend. So Bryan would always bare the pain and face it himself.
