Chapter 1

Asha POV

Max, Eric, and I were standing on top of the roof waiting for the arrival of the new initiates. While Eric and Max were talking, Eric had his arm wrapped around my waist. 

The two of them kept talking about god knows what, I wasn't paying much attention, I was thinking about all the ways that Eric and I could torture the initiates in training. I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard the train coming closer. 

Eric and Max stopped talking and stood tall waiting for the initiates to jump on the roof. Eric pulled me closer but removed his hand from my waist. He didn't want to be seen as weak. I didn't mind though because I know that this is just an act, when we are not in the eyes of other people, he is a totally different person. 

The train was closer now and the doors on the carts were opening, not even a few moments later the initiates are jumping onto the roof. Once the last person landed Eric allowed them to stand and come closer. 

"Listen up!" Eric yelled.

"My name is Eric, I am one of the leaders here at Dauntless. On my right is Max, and on my left is Asha. They are also leaders here at Dauntless." 

"If you want to be Dauntless you have to jump," I say motioning behind me. 

"What's at the bottom?" I hear one of the trainees ask.

"I guess you'll have to find out," I respond back. 

"So, who's going first?" Eric asked. 

No one said anything, they all tried to avoid eye contact scared that if they did then they would have to jump first. 

"I will," a girl dressed in Abnegation gray steps forward. 

I look at Eric in shock, he looks back at me and to others, it would look like he was annoyed with me but I know that he is shocked as well. 

"Ok," Eric stated simply. 

The girl slowly made her way to the ledge and looked over it, she stepped up and looked back at us.

"Some time today initiate," I snapped at her. 

She quickly looked at me and then looked back down, she then jumped down. All the other initiates gasped and looked terrified. 

"So, who's next?" Eric smirked.

After all of the initiates jumped Max jumped down to go back to his office. That left Eric and me on the roof. I went to walk to the ledge so we could go down but I was pulled back by my wrist. 

My body slammed into my husband, he grabbed my chin and made me look up at him. He smirked and slammed his lips on mine. Eric moved his hands down my body and rested them on my ass giving it a squeeze, causing me to moan. This allowed Eric to gain more access to my mouth. 

Eric removed one of his hands from my ass and moved it up to my throat squeezing it a little. Without removing his hand he tightened his hold on my throat and pushed me away from the kiss. 

"You are so gorgeous," he whispered in my ear.

"I can't wait to have you to myself tonight."

With that he let me go and jumped off the ledge. I took a moment to gather myself and then followed after Eric and jumped down. 

When I got to the net at the bottom Four went to help me out but Eric moved him out of the way and took my hand and gently helped me out.

"Let's go train these initiates," Eric whispers to me.
