Lisa's POV

It's been almost a month since I moved out of our place. Rosie, Jisoo and I have met each other a couple of times but never heard a thing from Jennie.

She never called, never texted, and never hanged out with us even though Jisoo Unnie invites her whenever we will meet each other.

She's still upset with me and I somewhat understand. But then on the other hand, I needed to do this in order for me to not destroy myself any further.

Right now, we are at a club unwinding with Jisoo, Rosie and some of our friends, Bambam, Seulgi and Minnie. Jennie still did not came to join us.

We're having some drinks while coping up with our lives. I'm already a little tipsy that's why I pulled up my cigar to light up a stick. Upon doing so, Jisoo and others stared at me dumb founded. Rosie was the first one to recover from shock.

"Yah! Lisa! Since when did you started smoking??" She exclaimed

"Rosie, it's not a big deal. I'm a grown up person. I can do whatever." I said then still lit up my stick.

"Lisa, I never supported you to move out just to see you having vices such as smoking" Jisoo said seriously.

"Unnie, I'm okay. It's just that it's too cold the last few months and my new coworker lend me some. It warms indeed." I said giving her my cutest face.

I just told her that but the real reason is my new coworker just pressured me into trying it. At first I didn't liked it. But as days goes by, I got somewhat used to it that I even smoke more when I'm alone at my apartment.

"Stop that, Lisa. It's not good for your health. If you keep doing that, might as well come back home with us." Jisoo Unnie said in a serious tone which is very seldom used.

I sighed then put out the cigarette just to finish the discussion. "There. No more smoke." I said

"Not just today, Lisa. You should quit it this early. You understand me?" She said in a motherly command

"Ne." I just said not really giving meaning into it.

"You really don't wanna go back to live with them, Lis?" Seulgi asked.

"Not at the moment, bro. Still need time I guess? Besides, Jennie doesn't seem to mind that I'm not there." I answered

"You don't speak with her?" Bam asked

"Nope. Tried to call her several times but stopped on the third day. Maybe she's so busy with work and her love life." I sais shrudding my shoulders as if I'm not affected.

"We don't know if she's mad at us as well. She seldom get out of her room whenever she's home. Sometimes she'll make excuses just to not go out with Mino which is unusuall since they are always hanging out before. She'll just answer what we asked whenever we wanted to have a conversation with her and then she'll excuse herself to us." Rosie stated

"You guys should check on her. She might have a problem or something?" I suggested. A little worried with her action.

"That's the thing. She doesn't open up. You know that she's always confiding to you whenever something is up with her." Jisoo then sighed

"Why don't you visit her in her office, Lis? Since you look worried for her." Minnie suggested.

I just drunk my beer and did not answered. Contemplating on checking on her or keep my distance like I promised myself.

I'm here now at the smoking area of our building with my two coworkers, Bobby and Hanbin. Having some smoke while thinking if I should visit Jennie after my shift or not. I'm about to finish my second stick to return to office when I heard someone called my name.

"Lisa."

I looked back in an instant for that is Jennie's voice. I quickly threw my cigarette in the trash bin, sprayed alcohol in my hands before going near her.

"So, Jisoo Unnie and Rosie are right. You're smoking now?" She's not actually questioning but stating a fact.

"It's just one stick, Jen." I said scratching my head.

"Yow, Lis. We'll go ahead. Don't forget later!" Bobby said before leaving. Not actually waiting for my answer.

"Where are you going with them? And who are they?" She asked again.

"Those are my coworkers. They asked me to join them in a bar later." I answered truthfully

"Are they the one who taught you to smoke?" She keeps on interrogating.

"I tried it cause I want to, Jen. Leave them out of this. What are you doing here by the way? You don't have plans with Mino?" I asked dismissing any further questions.

"Am I not allowed now to visit you here?" She asked

"That's not what I meant. You haven't answered my calls so I assumed you don't want to talk to me anymore." I shrugged

"I'm not answering your calls cause I'm expecting you to come home if I keep on ignoring you. But I guess you will never do so I decided to come to you instead. Let's go together to your house for me to see your new place." She declared.

I'm a bit caught off guard cause I didn't expect her response. She cannot go to my apartment right now for it is a total mess. For sure she'll keep on nagging once she saw my place.

"I'm sorry but can we do it some other time? I promised those two that I'll come with them later. Let's schedule your visit next time." I just said thinking I should get my apartment cleaned.

She stared at me for quite a long time before saying "Forget it." Then turned her back on me to get on her car. I did not followed her although I wanted to apologize and tell her the truth. But then I remembered "No, I should move on."

With that, I turned my back on her not knowing that she actually looked back on me.
