Lisa's POV

Been here in my bed all day. Trying to block all the thoughts in my head.

It's been a week since I left the apartment that I was living for the past 4 years with my friends, Jisoo, Rosie and Jennie.

Don't get me wrong. I did not have a fight on any of them that's why I moved out. It's just that I am trying to get rid of my feelings for someone in particular.

I am in love with Jennie ever since then. I met her when I was all alone eating my lunch at the open field rather than in the cafeteria.

I am new in South Korea. I came here to study since I am very facinated by the country. In Thailand, I am always amazed by their drama and also the Kpop idols that I used to watch on the internet. So when there's an opportunity to be an exchange student, I grabbed the chance and fought with my Dad that doesn't want me to leave. Thankfully, my Mom is supportive and got to pursuade my Dad into letting me do this.

He let me go in exchange of a promise that I will call him and my Mom everyday. For them to know my well being and if I am okay since they will be far from me.

Not gonna lie, 3 months in Korea, I wanted to go home since I missed them so much. I am relying on fast food and take outs since I don't know how to cook. Whenever I am hungry, I always cry and wished that my Mom is there ready to cook anything for me.

Going back, as I was silently eating my sandwich, she suddenly sat on the bench right next to me. I know Jennie since we are classmates in some of my subjects. And also, she's quite popular since she's beautiful, friendly and bubly.

I gave her a look that questions if there's anything she want from me. She just smiled and introduced herself. "Anyeong, I'm Jennie. I'm one of your classmates in History and Math. You're Lisa, right?" She asked.

"Ne." I just said since my hangul is really not fluent. I actually don't really understand most of the words that gave me a hard time coping with my studies. Another hardship for me.

"I'm sorry but I noticed that you're not talking to anyone in class and you're always by yourself. That's why me and my friends wanna get to know you." She speaks in English in my delight. Most of the students here cannot converse with me in English which made it hard for me to communicate. And I appreciate her for speaking to me in English.

"Yeah. My Korean is really not good and I'm having a hard time to learn. With that, I cannot communicate with other students." I answered also in English.

"I actually lived in New Zealand for 4 years that's why I know how to speak English. And my other friend, Rosie, she grew up in Australia so we can actually talk to you in English." Shs explained with smile not leaving her face.

I was really relieved by what she said. At last I can talk to someone comfortably although English is still not my first language. I think she saw sparkles in my eyes that's why her already wide smile became even wider while cutely wrinkling her nose just like a kitten.

That's the start of our friendship and the start of my growing feelings for her. After we graduated college, we decided to rent an apartment that can fit us four but still has our privacy since we have four separate rooms. It's still cheaper compared if we rent out our own since we share the common living expenses like electricity, water, cable and internet.

Going back to present time, I moved out of the apartment cause it kills me everytime I see Jennie being so clingy to her boyfriend of 2 months, Mino.

They met in one of the events that she attended for their company since she's one of the editors for Elle Magazine. Mino was one of the models invited and they hit it off the bat, as per what Jennie is saying.

Jennie had boyfriends before but it does not bother me cause I know she's not serious with them. I can't blame them though. She's beautiful, sexy, smart and out going person. Anyone, male or female would be attracted to her and since she's outgoing and easy to be with, she'll date some of them from time to time if the person shows persistence to her.

And that what's bothered me. She dated Mino in less than a month of knowing him and she already went with him to Jeju for a week to meet his family there. Thus, giving me the chance to move out.

The day that they left to Jeju is also the day I left the apartment. After Jennie announced to us regarding their trip, I immediately asked Rosie and Jisoo to help me look for an apartment. They know my feelings about Jennie cause they said that I am too obvious and they can see through me after all the years that we've been friends.

Jennie still does not have any idea that I left. I am not answering her chats and calls. Whenever she asked me through Jisoo and Rosie, they made excuses for me for them not to hand over the call whenever she's asking for me.

And today is their flight back, thus the reason why I am kinda anxious on what will happen. I already briefed them on what to answer to Jennie. I don't want her to be angry at them for not telling her right away that I moved out. I know that by now, she already knew that I left and still thinking of something to lessen her anger.

I'm about 20 minutes away from our previous apartment but still 10 minutes away from where I work. I decided not to move too far cause I still want to be friends with Jisoo and Rosie as well as the others. I just wanted some space so that my feelings would at least fade away. That I hope.

As I am surfingbthrough channels while head empty, I heard my phone beeped. Jisoo messaged me warning to answer Jen's call since she's really furious.

As if on cue, my phone started ringing while displaying Jennie's name on my screen. I sighed before answering her call.

"Yeoboseyo?" I answered a little cheerful

"Yah!! Lalisa!! Why did you moved out and why didn't you informed me?? I called you a multiple times this week but you did not answered any of it! And now I'll come home knowing that you moved out?? What the heck??" Jennie ranted so loud that I actually distance my ear from the phone but can still hear what she had said.

"I'm sorry, Unnie. I was about to tell you but then you had a vacation with Mino. I don't want to ruin your fun so I decided to just tell you when you're back. Please don't get mad at Jisoo and Rosie." I answered in the sweetest tone I could do.

"But why, Lisa? Did something happened that I still don't know of?" She asked a little calmer.

"No reason that is bad. I just felt like I wanted to have some personal space. I'm not complaining about you guys. It's just me, okay? Don't think that much." I said

"How can I not think? Lisa, we've been together in this apartment for years and yet you left without a word?" Her tone climbed up a little again.

"That's why I am sorry. I'm just a few minutes away from you guys. You're welcome to visit me whenever and you can call and text me." It's not like you're always at home since you've got a boyfriend. I wanted to add but decided not to.

"Oh, Lisa. If that's what you want, fine!" Then hungged up the phone.

I just sighed then shook my head. "Now I just have to endure and not allow myself to visit them".
