Kaiya's been training non stop till the sports festival. She's being doing different kinds of training. Some were physical, and some were her using her quirk.
She's used her quirk in ice cold weather, warm weather and extremely hot, making sure her quirk is suitable for every climate.
She's also been focusing on hand to hand combat as she can't use her quirk 24/7. She couldn't admit the fact that time has flew incredibly quick, so quick that it's already the day of the sports festival.

"Aw man, I wanted to wear my hero's costume." Mina pouted. "To make it fair we can't wear them." Ojiro softly smiled at the pink haired girl.
Some people were nervous, others were excited. You could hear it through the tone of their voice. Iida walked through the door, "Everyone, are you ready? We will be entering soon!" He said.
Todoroki walked up to Midoriya, a hand in his pocket. "Midoriya." Midoriya turned around and replied, "What's wrong Todoroki?"
Unconsciously, people began to turn their heads towards the pair. "Looking at things objectively, I think I'm stronger than you." Todoroki said as Midoriya nodded. "But it seems All Might has an eye on you."
Kaiya narrowed her eyes once she heard this. "I'm not going to pry about that. But I'm going to beat you." Kaminari sweatdropped as he said, "oh? Is the best in the class making a declaration of war?"
Kirishima walked up to Todoroki and out a hand on his shoulder. "Hey! Why are you picking a fight all of a sudden?"
"We're not here to play friends. So why does it matter?" Midoriya looked down as he began to speak. "Todoroki, I don't know what you're thinking when you say you'll beat me, but of course your better than me. I think you are capable than most people, looking at it objectively."
Kirishima closed his eyes and smiled as he raised his hands up, "Midoriya, you shouldn't talk so negatively about yourself." He was cut off as Midoriya began to talk again.
"But everyone, students from the other courses are aiming for the top with everything they've got! So I can't afford to fall behind. I'll be going for it with everything I have, too. " he finished off with a determined expression.
