Meredith Rhenn blew out a puff of air as she listened to Caroline Forbes drone on about all the possibilities of their sophomore year. "Are you even listening to me?" Carloine Forbes glared furiously at the redhead beside her. "Do you want me to answer that honestly?" Meredith quirked an eyebrow at her bubbly blonde friend. "No." Caroline glared at the redhead before her eyes found something more interesting behind Meredith's head. "Elena!" Caroline wiped any malice from her face as she rushed across the hall the brunette. Meredith shook her head and closed her locker, turning to make eye contact with Bonnie Bennett. There were no words needed for the two as they easily communicated to each other just how overbearing Caroline was going to be.

"Caroline, I'm right here. And I'm fine, thank you." Elena had a pursed smile on her face when Meredith walked over. "Really?" Caroline asked the brunette this time. "Yeah, I'm much better." Elena lied right to Caroline's face, the blonde ignoring her words as she encased her into her arms again. Meredith bit her lip as an amused smile made its way onto her face at Elena's discomfort. Breaking out of Caroline's arms, Elena let out a sigh of relief when the blonde made movement to leave. "Okay, see you guys later?" Caroline smiled at the pair before turning away. Meredith looked at Elena, to which the brunette relied "No comment." Meredith let out a big laugh and she decided to walk with the pair to class, meeting up with Caroline later.

The trio were walking past the school office when Bonnie pulled the pair to a halt. "Hold up, who's this?" Bonnie pointed out a tall brunette in jeans and a leather jacket. Meredith narrowed her eyes at the silhouette, her body immediately picking up on the dark aura around him. "All I see is back." Elena brushed off Bonnie's comment. "It's a hot back." Bonnie shamelessly stared at the guy. Meredith shook off the darkness and laughed at Bonnie's words. "I'm sensing Seatle, and he plays the guitar." Bonnie narrowed her eyes at the guy, Meredith turning to the brunette with a questionable look. "Gram's told her she's psychic." Elena answered the unasked question, before addressing Bonnie. "You're really going to run this whole psychic thing to the ground, huh?" Elena asked the brunette. "Pretty much." Bonnie shrugged and the smile fell from Elena's face as she noticed her brother a few feet away. "I'll be back." Elena sighed as she followed after her brother. "Please be hot." Bonnie wished, trying to stare it into existence. "So Gram's told you that you were psychic? She tell you anything else?" Meredith's interest was piqued at the mention of Bonnie's heritage. "She claims that we're descendants from witches in Salem." Bonnie answered the question nonchalantly, still focused on the new guy, even as he walked away.

Meredith was walking away from a table at the Mystic Grill when she noticed Jeremy Gilbert and Vicki Donovan in a heated discussion. Vicki shoulder checked the younger boy as she stormed past him to deliver drinks to Matt Donovan and Tyler Lockwood's table. Meredith let out a sigh as she made her way over to the pouting teenage boy. "Really, Vicki Donovan of all people?" Meredith leaned on the bar beside the boy. "Seriously, you too? Tell Elena to leave me alone." Jeremy grumbled at the redhead as he rolled his eyes. "Elena didn't send me, and I am not one to say that she's right. But Vicki is a bitch and Tyler is worse, getting between them is a bad idea." Meredith warned the boy before she noticed Caroline and Bonnie entering the Grill. "Maybe you should listen to the people that only want to help you." Meredith gave Jeremy parting advice before going over to her friend.

"You learned all of that in one day?" Bonnie questioned Caroline in disbelief as Meredith approached the pair. "Oh please, I got all of that between 3rd and 4th period, we're planning a June wedding." Caroline dreamt up as she sipped on her drink. "A wedding already?" Meredith mocked the blonde as Caroline turned around to face her. "Of course, be my maid of honor?" Caroline looked at Meredith with the same mocking smile. "Of course." Meredith laughed before looking over her tables. "Table 16 is mine, if you want to snag it." Meredith offered the blonde who eagerly nodded, before darting toward the table in the middle of the dining room.
