"Hey, have either of you seen Caroline?" Meredith jogged up to Bonnie and Elena, not realizing they were in a deep conversation. "No, why?" Elena looked over at the red-head worried. "I called her this morning to see if she wanted a ride and she didn't answer, she always answers me." Meredith frowned as she looked around for the bubbly blonde. "Good morning, Elena." Stefna Salvatore joined the three on the lawn. "Bonnie, Meredith." Stefan greeted the two witches respectfully, earning a small smile from Meredith. "Hey, I am going to help Mer find Caroline. She's not answering her phone, so see you guys." Bonnie quickly dismissed herself, wrapping her hand around Meredith's bicep and pulling her away. Meredith made eye contact with Elena, who simply responded with an exasperated shrug before turning to her new love interest. "Okay, Caroline is not that much of a big deal. What is up with you?" Meredith stopped the pair after they were far enough away from the lovebirds. "I don't trust him." Bonnie glanced back over at Elena and Stefan from across the lawn. "You literally just gave him Elena's number last night." Meredith gave Bonnie an unamused look. "I don't know what to tell you, it's like I touched him last night and this dark feeling washed over me." Bonnie shivered at the memory of the previous night. "Did you talk to Grams?" Meredith brought up the older woman again. "No, she'll just tell me I'm a witch again." Bonnie rolled her eyes as the two walked up the steps to the school. "What if you are?" Meredith gave an innocent suggestion. "That's not funny." Bonnie gave Meredith a pointed look before splitting off to her locker.

Caroline never showed up to school and Meredith began to worry about the bubbly blonde as she sat in History without her best friend. "World War II ended in...Anyone got anything? Ms. Jaun?" Mr. Tanner searched for participation from his class again, only to gain a shrug from his student. Meredith looked down at her phone, searching for any response from Caroline as Elena and Stefan whispered beside her. "1945." Mr. Tanner sighed before he picked up on the conversation going on in his class. "Pearl Harbor. Ms. Gilbert, Pearl Harbor." Mr. Tanner pulled Elena out of her conversation. "Uhm..." Elena tried to wrack her brain for the answer, but knew it was no use. "December 7th, 1941." Stefan saved the brunette, agitating Mr. Tanner even more. "Thank you, Ms. Gilbert" Tanner leaned forward, his tone dripping in sarcasm. "Anytime." Stefan didn't back down to the adult. "Very well, the fall of the Berlin Wall." Mr. Tanner glanced back to Elena, but Stefna wasn't taking the targeted approach. "1989, I'm good with dates, sir." Stefan commented simply, only coming off slightly rude. "Are you? How good?" Mr. Tanner glanced around at the teenagers that were finally paying attention, only to Stefan this time. "Keep it to the year." Mr. Tanner narrowed his eyes, wishing to flex his authority over the 'teenager'. "Civil Rights Act." Mr. Tanner began firing events, but Stefan didn't fail to keep up.

"1964"

"John F. Kennedy Assassination."

"1963."

"Martin Luther King."

"'68."

"Lincoln."

"1865."

"Roe V. Wade"

"1973."

"Brown V. Board?"

"1954."

"The Battle of Gettysburg."

" 1863."

"Korean War."

"1950 to 1953."

"Ha! It ended in '52." Tanner's eyes went wide as he celebrated a victory over his students. "Uh, actually, sir it was '53." Stefan wasn't about to lose to the egotistical educator. Tanner turned back to Stefan and pursed his lips before shouting at his class. "Look it up, somebody, quickly!" Mr. Tanner got crazy eyes as students scattered to find the answer. "It was 19...53." the guy in front of Meredith spoke up first and a smirk made its way to Meredith's face. People clapped for Stefan as Elena made googly eyes at the vampire, but Mr. Tanner simply bit his tongue as the bell rang.
