It took me a while to stop crying, although silent sobs escaped my mouth every other second. I pulled my head away from Elliot to see that everyone was staring or gathered around. I squeezed my eyes shut and titled my head up towards the ceiling. My hair was sticking to my face, while my mascara was running endlessly down my cheeks.
"Can you tell me what happened?" Elliot asked while his eyes searched mine for an answer.
"My- they're- gun- police- Zack." I can't even form a coherent sentence at this point.
"What?" Elliot looks completely lost right now. Which I don't blame him for.
"M-my brother-r-r Zack c-c-called me, and said our lit-t-t-tle sister was on the phone w-with the cop-p-ps and I-I-I-I asked why. He never got to a-a-answer cause someone s-s-s-slammed the door o-o-opened and s-s-shot them to death!"
I buried my face into his chest again and just cried. The people in the cafe' are speechless from what I just told them. I felt Elliot wrap his arms securely around me while pulling me tightly to his chest. His lips kissed the top of my head before he laid his cheek on the top of my head.
"It's ok Lux. Everything will be ok." He murmured.
