Constellations decorated the sky beautifully, mapping out faint shapes of animals and objects alike. I'd never tire of tracing them with my fingers, even if I'd done so for many years. My people had been reading these stars for centuries with me as their guide. They could glimpse into a person's future by charting where certain stars and planets lay when they were born. My kingdom was one that kept its eyes towards the future, never once glimpsing into the past. I'd taught them to never dwell there for it would only bring misery.

Prophis could be considered a kingdom of the future. I stood up, breathing in the cold air of Northern Teyvat. However, nothing could compare to the air of the kingdoms further north of mine. I'd honestly gotten used to such low temperatures. I looked down at the bustling town square beneath me and watched as people went about their mortal business. I was among a few Archons that visited the mortal world.

The other Gods saw humans as lesser than, but I thought they were interesting. Oblivious to the world of celestial carnage but interesting. Of course, they did not realize my godly status. I disguised myself as human, content with witnessing their actions with no direct contact. Twice a year, however, I would allow them to bear witness to me. It's usually only to aid them in reading the constellations.

"Oh, Aphelion," a woman's voice called out my Godly name, knelt down in front of a statue of me. "Please bless my child and allow me to give birth on a good astrological day."

Lucky for her, the astrological weather for this year was exceptionally good. Movement beside me startled me out of my musings. A man with dark hair that faded into orange wearing a white robe had landed near me, orange eyes glowing with some unknown emotion. I didn't turn toward him. "And what brings you here, Morax?" I questioned.

"I will never understand why you entertain humans," he grumbled. "They do nothing for you." Leave it to the warrior God to not understand humans. For some reason, I expected the younger Gods to be more fond of humans instead of the ones close to my age.

I hummed, "In due time, you will come to love them." His affronted expression didn't go unnoticed by me. Gesturing down to the town below, I gave him a knowing smile. "You make things too competitive, sometimes simpler is better. Humans leave a lasting impression whether you know it or not."

Morax rolled his eyes. "You sound just like those spirits in the East. Always preaching about freedom and the arts."

"Why wouldn't they? Decarabian is very similar to you." I couldn't not laugh at the offended noise Morax made. His eyes blazed with warning, nose flaring.
