My Blind Husband .

in new york everyone has a secret , whether it's that big of a deal or not . mine is most definitely a secret that needs to be kept under any circumstances .

i tell my daughter everything , but this is just too dire to tell her any details at all . she's too young to understand any of this and she'll think i'm a terrible person .

when really i'm just a mother who wants to protect her child . i hope she doesn't end up like me .

if something ever happened to my sweet little angel i would probably go back to my old ways , that wouldn't be good &' i know she wouldn't want that .

me being a lawyer i work day &' night i don't get to spend much time with my family like i used to .

my daughter &' husband don't like the fact that i'm defending ' criminals ' even though not all are guilty , but it keeps a roof over our heads so i don't pay them any attention .

my husband went blind back in the military , so it's been easier to hide things from him than it would be if he wasn't .

i'm not crazy , i just don't want to be alone , &' he wouldn't dare leave me if he knew what was good for him .

( or at least i thought he wouldn't try &' leave me .. )

i mean , we have a child together , why would he want to leave me ?
