Hii! This is my first oneshot in this book so I hope you enjoy.
Things to note:
The gender orientation of Y/n won't be mentioned, the story will be told by Y/n's pov. It's a platonic relationship between Y/n and child!luffy, also a bit of shanks Y/n is part of the Red pirates. Shanks hasn't lost an arm yet.

1st pov:
As I got closer to the tavern my crew was at, I heard yelling and laughters.
I thought nothing of it since it was always like that, and continued my way to the tavern which was now in front of me.
As I walked in the noise quietened but did not disappear. As nearly everyone's eyes turned to me, I looked around and saw some trying to hold their laughter as if knowing what might happen next.
I felt something tighten around me legs. Looking down I saw Luffy with semi-real tears. Looking at me he spoke while sopping "Shanks hit me in the head and said that I could never be pirate. And if I did I would probably only have a small bounty, nothing above 1 000 Beri."
He looked at me with eyes almost trying to telepathically tell me to play along.
Shanks who finally processed what Luffy said, spoke "WHAT! I did n-"
Me wanting to tease the captain, I played along and cut him off with, "How dare you say that!! And to a child too!"
"But I-" "No buts! I never would have thought you would do such a thing! I'm so disappointed in you captain!" I cut him off again dramatically.
I pretended to be mad and picked up Luffy, turned around and proceeded to leave the tavern trying to hide my laughter, while Luffy stuck his tongue out at shanks.
As we made it a bit away from the tavern we heard Shanks yell, "Y/N" and left the tavern running after us. I started to run finally letting out my laughter and Luffy laughed along with me as I carried him.

After a bit more running Shanks caught up to me. I had let Luffy run off somewhere else when we lost the red haired captain for a bit.
He pinned me by my shoulders to a tree, looking at me with an irritated expression, face nearly as red as his hair.
"Can you please let go you're hurting my shoulders T-T" I said as I wiggled my shoulders trying to escape his grasp.
"How about you stop doing these pranks/acts on me!" He replied still with an irritated expression which I tried my best to hold back my laughter at. Which I failed at by the way. I had let a bit out.
Tightening his grasp on my shoulder I, winced a bit. I felt his grasp lighten and let go of my shoulders completely.
"I'll let it go for the millionth time but you will get punishments" he said with a semi evil smirk, which made me shiver from fear.

As we got ready to leave, Luffy came to see us off.
"It was fun let's do it again" Luffy giggled and evil giggle and face.
"Yeah let's!" I smiled with an evil smile of my own.
"NO YOU WON'T!" Shanks yelled behind us which mad us both jump.
We ended up both getting hit on the head causing a bump to form there.

"Please captain I'm sorry." I said letting a few fake, dramatic tears fall, as I begged the captain to not go through with his punishments.

I failed.
I ended up doing 3x my normal chores, and an additional punishment.
