Chapter 7: Going On an Adventure

"Anyone up for a hike?" I asked
"Heck nah" said Connor.
"Not today, I meant tomorrow, plus how could we even go on a hike today, it's almost midnight."
"Good point" Connor agreed.
"Hello everyone, today I am joined with Alfie or also known as PointlessBlog". Sawyer almost shouted, to the camera, that Joey was operating.

The next day I woke up, and went to wake everyone up. Since it was so late at night, I let everyone stay in the guest rooms overnight, because it was 4 in the morning when everyone got tired. I went into all of the guest rooms, and they were all empty.
"What?" I whisper to myself.
I went into the kitchen, to see everyone there, talking.

 "I looked in all the rooms, for a bit, I thought you left"

"Why would we leave, when we're going on a hike today?" Zoey asked.

"Oh, I don't know"
"Wow, you guys -and girl- are already dressed and packed for the hike?!" I say.
"Yup" Caspar says, as he took a sip of his water.
"Okay, um... I'm going to go get ready so....ya" I say as I ran upstairs.
Once I got to my room, I put my hair in a bun, got dressed, and put on some make up. We then all fixed some breakfast.
When we got to the trail we all agreed on, we all got out of the car got our backpacks, and then headed toward the trail. The trail we decided on was 1 mile straight, then led to a different trail, which was 3.5 miles long.
Joey, Connor, and I were ahead of Caspar, Joe, Zoey, Alfie, and Sawyer.
When we where at the end of the first trail, we went on the second trail, which let to old mines.
When we arrived at the end of the trail, the caves were blocked off, due to extinct bats that were in the caves.
"We came all this way, just to see police tape...beautiful." Connor said with sarcasm, looking at the police tape, while everyone else was reading a sign that read why the caves were closed off.
After we all read the sign -and me and Zoey picked flowers- we headed back to the beginning of the trail.
But, this time me and Zoey were ahead. We were so far ahead, we couldn't even see the others.
"I think these flowers we picked gave us super powers, to help us go faster" I say to Zoey.
Zoey let out a big laugh, then agreed with me.
Me and Zoey both had our hair in buns, and we were both wearing kinda matching outfits -which we didn't mean to do- and we pretty much looked like twins, or even sisters.
Ever since I met Zoey, I thought of her as a sister, and she thought of me the same way. We were really good friends. I also had a lot in common with her.

When everyone had finished the hike, me and Zoey Went to get frozen yogurt, while the boys went to Starbucks.
My cousin had a pool at her previous house -which is now mine-
So, I invited them all over, again.
When they arrived, I already had my bathing suit on, and so did everyone else. I fixed us all up some pink lemonade, with straws and mini umbrellas and of course,ice.
We had lots of fun, and we chatted. me and Zoey are going shopping later, and I can't wait!
