"The roof is locked off?"

"Yeah, but since the security guy is dead we can just use his keys to check it out real fast."

"That's right! So...who's going to volunteer?"

They all looked at Hyun, Hyuk, and Jisu, "You guys wanna do it?" They all asked as they were unceremoniously volunteered to be the guinea pigs to test out the rooftop and the room that was there, as well as to make sure there wasn't somebody up there. "Fine, but you go first Hyun. You're already infected so it'll be safer in the long run." Hyuk contested as Jisu's protests were ignored by the dark black hoodie wearer, who agreed almost instantly before Hyuk could even finish speaking, something he didn't understand himself since normally he'd complain a bit about the arrangement.

As they suited up and left the temporary safety of the lobby, an indescribable feeling of curiosity mixed with something else washed over Hyun, as he and his allies made their way towards the roof by the stairs. 'What is this...? There's something up there..and I have to see it.' Pushing forward past Hyuk and Jisu's expected pace, the teen made it to the roof and busted into the small building, with Jisu and Hyuk behind him. "A....girl..?"

"....mmmm..." They heard her stir as she turned a bit and remained asleep though why she was there was still a mystery in of itself, "She looks normal but the black blood on the sheets and on her face gives her away." An idea suddenly crossed over her face, "Try your phone." Hyuk did only for it to have no signal with no beeping noise indicating a monster nearby, they all looked at the sleeping girl's form once more as she murmured, "....Gyu...." Hyuk's eyes widened as he quickly shook her awake and demanded an explanation.

"Hmmm...?" She yawned as she fully woke up them said, "You're being influenced by him. How curious." After standing up her eyes and ribbons revealed their true form, "Now, what did you want with me exactly? I'm trying to sleep time away so I can get back my shotgun boy." Hyuk asked her, "How do you know him?" She cocked her head until saying, "So you're the CrewCrew that he liked to talk to. Then allow me to formally introduce myself." Stepping towards him she spoke, "My name is Chin-Mae Jia. I'm his girlfriend." Hyuk retorted, "Why would he date someone like you? I was sure his girlfriend was that Shinyeong girl with how much he talked about her." A scoff from Mae, "I asked myself that a lot but still haven't got an answer yet. I'll let you know when I do."

While they conversed, Hyun couldn't stop gazing at the girl who was about a year younger than him and had yellow eyes with dark black hair, and wit that could combat with Hyuk's complex personality and way of twisting his words. "Right, these are my friends. Hyun Cha and Jisu...something." The girl got annoyed as she said, "Did you serious forget my last name? We've been fighting together for days!" As they fought about the semantics with remembering names, Hyun was approached by Mae, "So, I'm guessing this happens often?" He nodded while hesitantly speaking, "M-more so than you'd think." She cocked an eyebrow but secretly dug unto his memories as she looked at him, "I see...you were bullied just like him."

Hyun was shocked that she knew until she explained, "I can probe peoples memories if they have a monsterization tumor. You do and I'm sorry. I should've asked first, it's just...he went through the same thing as you so why...do I feel even worse after seeing that again?" Shaking her head she smiled at him while saying, "It's nothing. So, how about I meet the others?" Disguising her eyes and tentacle hair holders again, she walked out with Hyun and his friends following, "Don't worry, I have a special vemon that can kill monsters if they get too close." Hyun asked her, "Why should we trust you?" Mae replied, "Because I'm partially responsible for this entire world ending outbreak happening. Me and Zero are."
