A SIng contest??!. 😱😱 (part 1🫢)

At school
There's. I see a poster on the wall of the school. It says 'Singing Contest'
A singing contest.. I think to myself. I stare at the poster, then I hear somebody running over to me. "Singing contest!?" Tsukasa exclaims. I jump.
"Haha, did I scare you?😆" Tsukasa asks enthusiastically
"Um..No.." I lie. "Anyway- are you gonn join the contest? You're pretty goo- I mean- you seem to enjoy singing a lot so..."
"Of course I am!" Tsukasa poses, "I need all the attention I can get!😍"
"Of course you do." I say. The bell rings. Tsukasa and I go to class.

Lunch
I go to meet Toya
"Hello, Y/N-chan!" Toya says smiling. I wave.
"Have you heard about the singing contest?" Toya asks me.
"Yeah, why?"
"You should sign up!"
"Wha...Whaaaaat!?😨"
Toya giggles, "I've hear you sing before, you're really good!"
"N-No..I'm not that good.."
"You are! You really should sign up. The prize is 261 thousand yen!"
"R-Really😮?!"
Toya nods.
"U-Um, okay! I'll sign up!"
Toya and An smile wide.
"Will you guys sign up?" I ask them.
"I will!" An says.
"I don't know if I will..." Toya says, "You can't sing in pairs and I usually sing with Akito.😅" Akito and Toya blushes.
I nod. An and I go over to the sign up place and sign up. We see Tsukasa there. He looks at us.
"Y/N!" He says "You're signing up?"
I blush out of embarrassment. "Maybe..."
Tsukasa says nothing and turns around (We're in a line and we're behind him.)

After school
I hang out with Toya, An, Akito, and Kohane. They're helping me prepare for the contest (which is 2 months away).
"Wow, Y/N!" An exclaims, "You're an amazing singer!🤩"
Kohane nods, "You are!"
Toya agrees, "Told you, Y/N!"
I make a ☺️ face, "Thank you guys!"
"The judges will definitely be blown away by your voice!" An remarks.
"I don't know about that.." I smile nervously.
"They definitely will!" Toya assures me.
"Haha..I hope so!"
