A/N thankyou sooo much for 30 reads!! I know it's not loads but I didn't expect anyone to even see this. Uh, is anyone actually enjoying the story??? I'm definitely enjoying writing it and I have some fun ideas for it!!!
Btw I saw this advice somewhere that u should space out the text when there's dialogue, so I'm trying that with this chapter! Hopefully it looks more professional?
Oo also, has anyone else watched heartstopper on Netflix??? I wanted to watch it cos I love the books and the show is SO GOOD u should deffo watch it anyway enjoy the chapter! :)

I'm still confused about what happened to Alex last night. He just kind of blanked out and I didn't know what to do. I loved hugging him, though.
I hug Herc and laf all the time, but with him it was different. He kind of held me like he needed me, like I was a rock he needed to cling onto or he'd fall. I don't usually feel needed. Hercules and lafayette have each other, and the sisters... Got out of touch. Maybe things will change now. Maybe last night it wasn't Alex who needed me, but me who needed Alex.

WOOOO it's arrival day!!
Me and angie woke up super early to set off with dad, who was really tired because he'd only just driven the 3 hour journey yesterday with Eliza and Alex.
Just as I was getting bored, 2 hours in to the drive, I got a text from Eliza.
CINNAMONROLL: PEGGY omg guess what guess what
pEGGY: what what whattt???????
CINNAMONROLL: ok this sounds crazy but do u remember John laurens
pEGGY: ofc????
CINNAMONROLL: HE IS HERE
pEGGY: WHAAAAAAAT
pEGGY: how?!?!???!?!?!?!???!
CINNAMONROLL: Herc and laf are here too!!!!!! When u and angie arrive it'll be like a renunion omg!!!
CINNAMONROLL: currently creating a gc with us allll!!!!!!!!!

pEGGY: YOU GUYS ME AND ANGE ARE PULLING IN COME OUT TO GREET UR FAVOURITE PEOPLE PLEASE
Me and angie's seatbelts were already off as dad parked, as we tried to surpress our excitement. We saw a group of people racing towards the car. We looked at each other for a split second then threw the doors open and ran out to hug them, squealing.
"JOHN!" I screamed, embracing my old best friend, looking much more grown up but still as radiant as I remembered.
"PEGGY OH MY GOSH" he cried.
By now, we were both sobbing and clinging into each other whilst the rest of the group looked on with a mixture of smiles and eye rolls.
I then enveloped both hercules and laf into a giant hug, still crying.
"pegs!" I heard angelica shout from the car. "come say bye to dad!"
I jogged back to the car impatiently and hugged dad, who was grinning.
"Girls, I'm so glad you are reunited with your old friends. Have fun!"
"love you! Bye dad!!"
"call me tomorrow, let me know how it's going, OK?"
Me and angelica frantically waved as he pulled out of the uni, and slowly drove away, waving to us until we couldn't see him anymore. As soon as he was gone, we turned and ran back to the group, who were chatting amongst themselves excitedly.
"Guys! We had the best idea!" Eliza squealed when she saw us.
"SLEEPOVER AT JOHN AND ALEX'S DORM!!!!" Laf yelled
Angelica laughed. "um, me and peg haven't even got to our dorm yet, we should probably do that?"
I linked arms with her. "good idea!"
It didn't take long to find our room, since out of luck (and probably the wealth of our dad), all three of us schuylers were in the same dorm! We decided that the sleepover should now take place in our dorm ,since it was the biggest. Me and angie quickly threw our bags on the two empty beds, then scavenged for as many pillows, blankets, and duvets as posible from all of our groups rooms to arrange on the carpet for the perfect cozy spot. Me, angelica and Eliza snuggled under my duvet, John and Alex lolled on a beanbag laf has stolen from the large common room (don't ask how he did it, I have no freaking clue) whilst he and herc chilled under lafayette's French flag blanket.
We'd all just got comfy when we realised we forgot one key point - food!
John offered to go get us some snacks, and didn't ask any of us what we wanted. I trusted he'd remember all of our tastes, and good food is good food!
Whilst he was gone, we took the time to catch up. Hercules told me and angie that him and laf were dating, whilst laf rested his head on his shoulder cutely, staring up at his boyfriend. I always shipped them in high school, so it just makes sense they're together now.
Lafayette was in a deep conversation with Alex about how he'd come over from France to London, and how much better pain au chocolats are across the channel, when john staggered in. He was proudly holding a cardboard cup holder of eight takeout cups AND a bulging carrier bag.
I smirked. Us+sugar? This was going to be a looong night.
