The leaving

As they leave, Jack caught something in the corner of his eye. It looked like a face staring at them. Jack ignored it, not telling Felix cause he was already too traumatized for this. They drove back home, and it was 2:30 in the morning. When they arrived home, they had a cute little dinner date. Jack still remembered what he'd seen and what he's known, but doesn't want Felix to know about it due to him being extremely terrified about this subject, Felix did tell him that he experienced it before and it wasn't a great one. After some little conversations and blaring on whatever they saw as fun, they completely forgot about it.

Until a few months later, a package was on their doors. They were confused because they never remembered ordering anything at all, and the shops closed orders years ago.

Felix asked Jack to make sure:

"We didn't order anything, right?

Jack replied:

"No, we did not, I'm certain."

"Then why is this here? If we didn't order anything then what's this for?"

Jack tried his best to answer it properly:

"Look, I'm as confused as you, if I knew it then why would I ask you? I would tell you if I knew, in this case, I don't"

Felix, says in curiosity:

"Maybe we should open it and see what's inside? Besides, that is our address, this couldn't be for anyone else can it?"

They opened the mysterious box and found really weird things inside. The items are: notes covered in dirt, an ax with strange stains, and a book with weird symbols. These things when put together make a very scary sign of a crime scene or some sort of ritual.

Jack, shocked while Felix felt regrets coming through his whole body, mumbled in fear:

"I shouldn't have done that, I shouldn't have opened it. I am such a curse, why would I do this-"

Jack heard his mumbling, even though he couldn't make out what he said, he knew that he was scared, Jack stood up and told him:

"Hey it's okay, I'm here, you don't need to be scared. Don't panic, it'll make you more terrified, you also told me you have trouble breathing sometimes right? Panicking will only make it worse"

Felix stuffed his head against Jack's chest, he could hear sobbing. As Felix leaned in for a hug, and hardly let go. The box was left in the closet, as Jack pick up Felix and brought him to rest.

Felix had always been an emotional person, he could never control it and will always blame himself when somethings go wrong.

Jack did research on the things found in the box, and the results are quite terrifying, but still left Jack with questions. He decided to go back to that house, didn't tell Felix though.
