??? POV

I was hesitant to answer the call but I did just before it went to voicemail. "What do you want? You are distracting me from diving?" Isaac stayed quiet for a moment. "Get to the club now!" 

Did he just speak to me like that?

"I'm on my way" I  replied then hung up. I pulled up outside of the club that I own. I locked the car and entered into the VIP area. I had a whiskey sent to me and Isaac sat down across from me. "What is this for?" I ask in a calm strong voice. He had mysterious wrote all over his face. Not wanting to give anything away. "The girl your talking to knows your family but has never met them apart from your brother."
My brother? I haven't talked to him in a while!
"How do they know each other?" I asked a bit more aggressive than it was meant to be but Isaac didn't seemed too fazed by it. He took a deep breath. Oh no this is gonna be bad. "She use to date your brother Lucas, the one that he proposed to and she said no because she was gonna break up with him, but never said why." I thought back to how he described her and that's not what she was right now. She has changed so much in the past  year. Different hair colour, different body shape. You place a picture of her now and one a year ago you wouldn't think they were the same person. I felt a tug at my heart. Why? I don't know why. I wanted to g back to her and try to confront her on this. I drove back to her house and her light in the living room was still on. I was about to get out of the car and knock and I saw another figure with her. They didn't seem to be arguing, nor did they seem to be relaxed. 

Maria's POV

When he dropped me off I just wanted to be close to him once again. He had a different attitude towards me. I know what your thinking, Maria it's a stranger why do  you keep going out with  him, the real reason is that I feel safer with him than anyone. More safe than my ex- boyfriend who didn't think that I knew that he was cheating  on me with a girl named Chloe and he kept it so well hidden I didn't find out till  the morning he was going to propose to me. Whilst I was sat down on the couch watching a film and eating popcorn, there was a knock at the door. I wanted it to be the man who I was hanging out with. When I opened the door all my nightmares came back. Lucas was here at my door. I tried to shut it on him but he opened it back up with one hand and walked into the house. 

How did he find me? I've moved house multiple times! 

Horror was written all over my face and I knew he could tell that.

What scared me next was what came out of his mouth next "you are getting a punishment right now baby girl  and tomorrow we have a busy day. I didn't move and just sat down on the couch hoping someone would save me soon.
