Chilling on her sofa was the best thing a person could want cuddling up to this person. I managed to calm her down and I reassured her I wouldn't hurt her like my brother did. On the sofa eating popcorn and watching the Little Mermaid. I won't lie but it is a great Disney film, maybe the best one ever made but I could tell that she was getting tired as she wasn't eating the popcorn as frequent as she was at the start. When the film ended she rolled around and her head landed on my chest.

I wrapped my arm around her shoulder and carried her upstairs bridal style. She rubbed her neck into my chest not wanting to move. I could look at her like this all day if she let me. I know what Lucas did and he will never go near this house again even if it means I have to get her to a secure place or even buy a new house just for her I will do it.

She came down with a smile on her face, I guess she could tell that I was cooking her breakfast. "I was going to bring this full English breakfast up for you to have in bed but you can still have it down here if you prefer." I laugh to myself as her reply was "I'll have half down here and the rest upstairs when I'm getting ready for work."

I turned around and smirked a little when there was a sudden knock at the door and Briella's face went pale showing me she wasn't expecting any guests or her mind went straight to Lucas, to be fair so did my mind.
