A/N: Sorry for leaving this without updates for months- I lost motivation. Not proofread!!

Madeleine sat down next to Espresso with a cheerful smile on his face, his arm resting on Espresso's shoulder.
"What on earthbread are you so happy for?" Espresso said, clearly annoyed.
"What? Can't I be happy you're not sick?" He replied, the same smile still plastered onto his face.
Espresso sighed, knowing he couldn't do much about Madeleine at that point. He was in too deep to start ignoring Madeleine.
"Oh alright. Could you at least let me focus in class?" He said, grabbing out his notebook and pen.
Madeleine happily nodded and did the same as he saw the Professor walk in and start their lecture.
For once, Madeleine actually put effort and took notes in class, and kept quiet as well.
'Well. Maybe he isn't so bad after all, he just needs some encouragement...academically.' Espresso thought to himself.

Madeleine POV

'Oh wow, today's going great! I'm focusing for once, Espresso doesn't seem too annoyed, this is great!"
I continued on writing down my notes, highlighting down the important things I needed to remember.
'Damn, where did i get all this motivation? I should study with Espresso more.'
I looked over at Espresso, seemed like he was doing just fine as well, phew!
The Professor was in a good mood seeing as me and even Licorice himself was listening.
Checking the time on the clock, we had around 30 more minutes until class ended.
'Man, time by goes really slowly during class time.'

No One's POV

It was a relatively quiet lecture for once, everyone was cooperating and listening.
After half an hour, class ended and Madeleine started to pack up and get ready for his next class.
"Hey Espresso, do you wanna do the homework together later?"
Madeleine asked him cheerfully, putting his backpack on while walking beside Espresso.
"Sure, why not." Espresso replied, a calm and collected expression on his face.
"That's great! I'll see you arojnd 30 minutes when all of our classes are done, then!"
The two split off, going to their respective classes.
Espresso and Latté shared this class, they walked together and told eachother about what happened.
"Oh wow, Madeleine isn't so bad huh? So you two are friends now?" Latté asked, excited to know if Espresso had made a new friend.
"Well, i wouldn't say so. More like acquaintances, we also agreed to do homework together after classes."
"Still! You're being more socially active for once." Latté said with a relieved look on her face.
The two sat next to eachother in class, with the Professor being a bit late.
'Today's going.. just fine. Maybe tomorrow will be the same.' Espresso thought.
