Chapter 8

"Come in, we can talk inside," I stepped away from Archer and lead the girls inside.

"Pandora ? Skye ?" Nadia got up and ran to give them a hug, Vicky followed and jumped in on the group hug, almost dropping their bag in the process. "What are you guys doing here ?"

"We needed to talk to Avalon," Skye looked to me.

"Excuse me," Hunter stood up. "But who are you and what do you want with Avalon ?"

"This is Skye and Pandora," I pointed at which was which. "They helped us get out of Stefan's prison."

"It's a pleasure to meet you," Pandora smiled at them.

"Okay, it's late, why doesn't everyone just go to sleep, we can talk about this in the morning, right ?" I gave Pandora a hopeful look.

"Sure, we've been running for three hours straight to make sure we weren't followed anyway," Skye added.

"Well you guys can stay down here, we don't really have any rooms left," I felt slightly guilty for making them stay down here but it wasn't like I planned on letting them sleep.

"Thank you," everyone got up and stretched since they had been sitting for ages.

"Well I'm going to bed, good night," Dayton pulled Tyler upstairs, Raine and Max, Chloe and Vicky followed suit so it was just Archer, Nadia, Hunter, Pandora, Skye and I.

"We can talk in the morning," we said our good nights and went to bed.

"So how do you know they aren't working for Stefan and try to kill us in our sleep ?" Archer asked as I climbed into bed.

"I don't," His gave me a suspicious look. "Guess you're just going to have to trust me on this one."

When I was sure Archer had fallen asleep after an hour I got up and quickly and quietly made my way to Raine's room, I knocked on the door and waited for her to answer and prayed that it was her and not Max who answered.

"What's up ?" Raine yawned.

"Do you know a spell that can stop anyone from hearing what your talking about in a room ?"

"No, but if you burn certain herbs it blocks anyone from outside the room from hearing."

"Great, do you have any ?" She nodded and disappeared for a few minutes before returning with the herbs and a lighter. "Thanks."

"Come on, I'm coming with you, you might want to get Dayton too, She'll kill you if you don't get her," I nodded and got Dayton, without waking anyone else. As we started to walk down the stairs a floor board creaked behind us, we spun around to find Nadia leaning against the wall.

"I'm coming with you, don't even try and stop me," I sighed and made the motion for her to follow us.

When we got downstairs I saw the dinning room light was on, when we stepped in the table had maps, pictures and blueprints on it, there was a big map on the wall of the town, including Stefan's prison, Raine's and this house too.

"Wondering how long until you could sneak away," Pandora turned from the wall map Skye and her had been inspecting. "I'm sorry, but who are you two ?" Pandora pointed at Dayton and Raine.

"This is Raine and Dayton," They moved around the room to look at the pictures, Raine set the herbs on fire and put them in a bowl before closing all the doors.

"The Witch and the Hound," Skye smirked. "Sounds like a twisted version of a Disney movie."

"Ha ha," Dayton picked up a picture and looked at it. "Who's this ?" As she turned it around I froze.
