You tossed your long h/c hair to the side as you looked down upon your opponent, who was also your new sword master. You recently met up with Lang Seenyo with the help of Kizu. You and the young woman agreed to keep this a secret from Jyeoon and Verr Goldet as to not panic the older adults.
You were doing good, or so you thought until you fought with Lang. The older man had great fighting skills, even better than Jyeoons. Kizu had to have a wide social circle in order for you to pair up with this guy as a new master
"That's enough for now, you're getting better," Lang said, sticking his sword to the ground and leaning on it.
You sighed in relief as you dropped your sword, resting on a tree stump that was behind you. You took in the pretty scenery around you, you were at the peak of Wuwang Hills, the breeze ruffling your soft h/c hair, reminding you of what you're going to do with it later. You booked an appointment to trim/cut your hair, you've been wanting to do this for a while.
You fished out your notebook, writing down onto the blank peace of paper.
I should get going.
Lang looked back at you "Okay, I'll see you in a few days for our next training session, practice when you can.
You said your goodbyes, giving Lang back his spare sword. The journey to the Inn wasn't a long one, but it could take a while since you were still injured.
When you arrived it was late-afternoon, you spotted Kizu in the distance and you quickly walked towards her. The younger woman seemed to be in a panic.
Kizu perked up upon your arrival and she placed her hands on your shoulders, pushing you closer to her.
"We are in quite the predicament," Kizu whispered sharply in your ear, "I tried to distract Jyeoon into going back to Liyue Harbor to get some work done since he hasn't, but he refused, wanting to spend some time with you. Once he realized that you were gone....well....."
You looked past Kizu, shocked to see that everything was in a mess, all the tables and chairs were flipped over, angry customers were there with Verr Goldet trying to calm them down.
"Your old man kind of had a heart attack, so I had to tell him that you were getting a haircut, it was all I could think of. I don't know if I made it worse or not," Kizu rubbed the back of her head sheepishly.
You dead panned at this, writing down your response.
So that means I need to go get a haircut without an angry Jyeoon noticing me?
Kizu nodded, her face flushed red.
You sighed, putting your book and quill back in your leather bag.
"I'll cover you to the best of my abilities," Kizu said earnestly before going back to the Inn, hunting down Jyeoon.
You walked away from the Inn, hiding from anyone who came into view. Once you out of sight, you sighed in relief.
