Artemis watched as a wolf walked into her tent. It stepped to the side, bowing its head. The girl walked in. "Lady Artemis," the girl said.

"Have you told them?" Artemis asked.

"Yes, M'lady."

"Good. Now, you're the best Hunter I have for this job."

"What is it, M'lady?"

"Scout the perimeter of the camp. Just a quick scout. Report back to me when you're finished."

The girl nodded. "As you wish, Lady Artemis."

The girl was led back outside by the wolf that brought her to Artemis, Zavier. She called for a hunting bird, named Theodosia (But everyone just called her "Theo" for short). The girl held out her arm, and Theo perched herself on it. "Just a quick scout. You know the drill," the girl said.

Zavier stepped closer to the girl. Apol—Hunteress, am I to join you?

Apol—(I slipped there myself; my apologies) The girl did not hesitate to answer, "Yes, please. I wouldn't do a scout without you."

Theo flew up in the clouded-gray sky, scouting from above. Meanwhile, the girl and Zavier scouted from the ground. Nothing too important happened while the girl, Zavier, and Theo scouted, so I will instead inform you about Selina Xander.
