The glitch

Chapter 1 : welcome home

Marissa was on her way back to her fathers house after three years of not seeing him. She was very excited to see her father again for the first time in years she was almost bouncing up in her seat. As her mom pulled up to the house she hugged her goodbye, and left to see her father. She looked around at the front of the house seen that nothing changed from the last time that she saw it when she knocked on the door she met heri father's face he had tears of joy streaming down his face and a smile plastered onto it as well.
" hello honey it seems like forever since the last time I saw you I missed you so much." He gave her a hug that was tighter than any other hug that he had given her. She hugged back with tears also streaming down her face. Then she walked into the house and it had the same smell of smoke cigarettes and cheep cologne the same smell that she grew up with. She walked upstairs and put down her bags. She looked over by her TV and saw her PlayStation one all hooked up with her favorite game next to it. Her game had a man in the middle of the CD case holding what seem to be a gun to be more specific a shotgun and right above the man it had resident evil put in big red text. She looked at it trying to decide if she wanted to play it right now but she decided not to and go downstairs to hang out with her father.
she walked down to the kitchen and Marissa immediately smelled the smell of her favorite food steak. Her mouth began to water and it was as if she was in a cartoon where the scent just pulled her in. She walked over to her father and hugged him once more.
"Thank you for making steak dad I love you"

" I love you too now go to sit down at the table we must discuss what we are going to do in the next few days" her father said happily. Marissa happily sat down at the table waiting for the food that she so dearly loved. She was like a little kid waiting for macaroni at the table while her father was telling her to calm down and wait and it would be ready shortly. Her father walked over to the table with big plates of food each of them had one steak, mashed potatoes, and macaroni. She immediately ate all her food and ran upstairs after they finished talking about what they were going to do. They had decided to go to the mall and stop by some of her favorite stores. Whenever she got up to her room she immediately lay down in her comfortable bed for the first time and what seems like forever ready to play her game but she soon fell asleep laying down on her bed. Before she went to sleep she thought "man it's good to be home"
