Ah, math. Or algebra, whatever the difference is. Well, algebra is the first math class so.. I don't really know. Mr. Kempema, the math teacher, yelled out, "alright, people! Today I will assign you a partner because there are one hundred questions on this. Each one of you will get one paper with the same thing. The goal is to do better than your partner, get more questions correct. Alright! So we have Alexia and Macy," the two girls cheered.
"Percy and.. Annabeth." I got looks of jealousy, but I didn't care. He's probably just some vain brat that only cares about himself, and only likes you for your money, like Luke.
Like Luke.
Flashback
"I'm back from the store!" I screamed.
The door to his room was closed. It was never closed, unless he was doing something important.
I knocked.
Sounds from the room stopped. For example, the creaking of the bed. He was probably taking a nap. I knocked again. "Luke, I bought you pie! Come on."
No reply.
Five minutes later, the door finally opened. Luke grinned. "Pie?" I smiled and nodded, then frowned. "What took so long?" Luke's eyes were wide. "I was.. I.. I was working on a project that Ethan told me to work on." I smiled.
"Can I see it?"
He gulped. "Uh.. sure." I stepped into the room, and by the second step, I stepped on something.
A pink shirt with laced words that said CRAZY on the front.
And it wasn't one I owned.
I picked it up with trembling hands.
"Luke, is this mine?" He was silent. I closed the door.
From under the bed, a shuffling noise came. A gorgeous girl with shoulder-length wavy hair, half-naked, walked out. "Hey Luke, is she gone, because I wanted to finish that-" her eyes widened. "I was- he- um.." Luke hugged me, but it wasn't friendly. "Sorry." Evil was enriched in his voice. Tears formed and flew down my cheeks. "I.. trusted.. you!" I judo-flipped him. He scowled.
"Leave."
So I did. I packed and left, with the sound of Luke and his new girlfriend shrieking in delight.
Suddenly I was sobbing sobbing so so much, and suddenly I felt strong arms wrapping around my waist, helping me head to the counselors office.
